Itzmemikky:While you wait for the gurus in the house, let me quickly answer the little I know . 1. Yes, you can use your employer's account statement. 2. The documents you will be needing from your employer include: A. The company CAC certificate B. Tax clearance of the company C. Letter of sponsor from your employer (stating they are the one sponsoring the trip and other expenses) D. Letter of introduction from your employer E. Company's 3 months statement of Account 3. Yes, you will also need to submit your 3months statement of Account, payslip, your itinerary, flight reservation and hotel booking regardless. |

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 8:31pm On Aug 01, 2021 |
Ok. In my Opinion, the visa officer would wonder why a Company should sponsor an Employee to embark on a personal Tourist trip with funds meant for running the Company? If you own the company , you still need your own funds in your personal account asides the Company's. A company Sponsorship works when you are going on a business trip, training /short course related to your work with them etc. In 2017, did your Company sponsor your trip and was that on a tourist visa or ?? You need to work on your finances more.. your previous visa is a plus but applications from here are a bit financially tied backed with some documents. quote author=Itzmemikky post=104328453] Thank you broda for the advice In 2017, did your Company sponsor your trip and was that on a tourist visa or ?? For first time tourist visa applicant ! Don't book appointment using frequent travel option because there is no appointment for France first time travel for now on tourist visa. Someone was sent back today at VFS France visa application because of that. 1 Like |

Thank for that info HRproof. Please one more question I have spanish permanent resident visa on my old passport which got missing in 2016. I got the visa on 2015 october but i did not use it, meaning that i did not travel to spain. Am i still under a First timer or a Frequent traveller? HRprof: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by HRprof: 9:06am On Aug 03, 2021 |
Lizzer:You mean you have permanent resident visa and didn use it till date? Lol Anyway if you have a copy of it anywhere then add it to your visa applications but they will confirm the authenticity of it since it still fall within schenge country but if you can not provide it then no evidence of your visa prove and it means you fall for the first time travel 1 Like |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 9:54am On Aug 03, 2021 |
Thanks for your response. I don't have a copy of it. But i will mention it in my application , because when applied for canadian visa in 2017, i didn't mention it on my application. With the lost passport number on my new passport, Canadian embassy saw the spanish visa and denied me visa for not mentioning that i had a Spanish visa long time ago. I just hope applying as a first timer will not be a problem, because am very sure they will see that Spanish visa. HRprof: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 10:28am On Aug 03, 2021 |
@Lizzer, your lost passport number linked to the new one will show you had a Spanish visa in the past as its within the Schengen region. However, you may need to call the vfs help desk by phone: 0815 018 8800 to explain your situation to them and see the solution profferred. Good Luck.. Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 10:56am On Aug 03, 2021 |
Lizzer: Was this the only reason? Did Canada deny you a visa for not mentioning that you had a visa to another country though? Unless that visa sticker is on the passport submitted or you are applying to a country you have previously visited before how would the Canadian Embassy know you had a visa to Spanish? i.e assuming that you your details weren't flagged. If you had a Spanish visa before then you are not a first-timer then. |

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 11:18am On Aug 03, 2021 |
that was the only reason. Please Nairalanders, if you are applying for any kind of visa be it Visiting, Permanent resident, Family reunion etc, and you have had a visa before. kindly mention it on your application , both used and unused. Even if the stamped visa passport is expired, lost or burnt mention it. I'm talking from my little experience. With the old or missing passport number they will see it. Nchabuomo: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by HRprof: 11:32am On Aug 03, 2021 |
Lizzer: How did you know it was the reason ? Did you request for your GCMS? Or you just assume as the Canada refusal letter does not come with such details information unless you request for your GCMS. Meanwhile , Canada only share information with US embassy and i don't know about sharing information with Europe. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 11:57am On Aug 03, 2021 |
Lizzer: Okay, if you say so. Personally I don't always declare previous visas and this has never been an issue. Goodluck |
