Sunshine vs Rivers United will be so interesting Sunshine need to win to avoid relegation Rivers needs to win to qualify for Continental football

Rivers should be kicking themselves right now. First they let a 2 goal lead slip away at MFM and then they went on to lose the semifinals of the aiteo cup to Bayelsa United a NNL club.

Population full everywhere, girls dey measure how big their backside is, boys dey count how many girls dem don count and how long they last in bed. Maybe we go push for sex as part of sports in Olympics, then Nigerians go use basket pack medals.
75th indeed, even Fiji wey no reach 100k dey on top.

I get your angle. Infact its my angle too. Add the misfortune of a Sports Ministry and know that we are where we are cos of them. No sugarcoating can exonerate them. A house without strategy would produce chaos.

Usa have 603 athletes in this Olympics alone(i stand to be corrected)

We sent only 60!!! Aspa we are 10times better than the Americans?

Well, that's just an angle. Cos the Jamaicans are fewer but dominated women's athletes!!

These same youths that are all over social media showing buubs and yansh upandan, if they suddenly wake up and decide to take up any of the available 50+ sports that is available to be repped at the Olympics, the Sports ministry go kill their morale before they even start huffing and puffing.

Its not like Youths aren't passionate about sports all over. They are but they know the gigantic bottlenecks they'll meet just to go rep. See Enoch Adegoke for example, without his Coach. Divine had to turn us based to be this good.

Its their careers but the lens the ministry views it from, and sport administrators at large, is via greed and gluttony.

You mentioned Fiji of 100k. What of Kosovo that sent only 11 athletes to rep them and 3 won gold??

For all those that came out to rep despite the odds, i say Twale a million times!!

Please for your own sake, learn to stop generalizing...

learn to use the words like "some" or "most"...

you said "girls dey measure how big their backside is, boys dey count how many girls dem don count and how long they last in bed." that's generalizing...

what you talked about is classified under the "entertainment industry" which is totally different from the Sports industry..

As there are boys and girls interested in "how big their backside is, boys dey count how many girls dem don count" there are also boys and girls interested in sports,
there are also some boys and girls interested in education
there are also some boys and girls interested in politics
there are also some boys and girls interested in science and technology
there are also some boys and girls interested in Health
there are also some boys and girls interested in fashion
there are also some boys and girls interested in Aviation.

AITEO is owned by Benedict Peters, one of the wealthiest men in Africa. Has nothing to do with politicians brother.

Make we dey calm down for this blame game. It's not as if it is completely easy for them. There are also hiccups with money in the ministry.

Till our economy becomes diverse, don't expect too much from anything in Nigeria so that you wouldn't be too disappointed.

Just two goals against Shakhtar and Lyon will whip out the chequebook. Reports are saying he's trying to force a move.

West Ham out of race. Barca aceepted their offer for Braithwaite. But Braithwaite is expected to reject the move.

I presumed change of government affected aiteo operations though johnbull have explained to me better but let me tell u reason for my assumption to my knowledge Aiteo deals on E&P considering the news on Buhari seized oil wells in 2019 probably reasoned they might be affected.

It seems you have no idea on how private companies most especially those in abuja get contracts forget the call for tenders on tender newspapers, confab websites etc some of this companies are owned by close relatives of the politicians in power who makes it easy for them to get this contracts. A company may get so many contracts should the Directors have long legs and may see their revenue swell up in hard currencies and as soon as government changes same company may start to fold up because the contracts wont be forthcoming as it used to and sometimes the company may even be under probe like the ones linked to politicians like saraki and others in the past
