It won't be a bad Idea to create Telegram Platform for this Thread, because it's easier to censor or restrict idiotic Posters like DLL that are nothing but jobless Trolls.

This Thread is created for sharing Reports, Intel basically related to African Military. It's not limited to Nigeria only, but all African Countries.

DLL has become a big Nuisance, thus embarrassing Nigerians on this Platform. He keeps spamming Pages with non-military related Updates..... for what exactly?

I support this idea, I have long waited for the to be raised, it would help instill the true virtues why this thread was created.

As good as the idea of opening Telegram in order to censore the activities of some derailing member is good idea and a welcome development.

Although, we should not quickly forget the fact that this is a faceless platform as such, so many people are free to contribute thier quota objectively or otherwise.

On a final note, majority of people giving Intel will rather prefer thier identity to be hidden and so many other people like that, because of the fear of the unknown. Besides, telegram is just an extension of WhatsApp which is designed for people that have a little bit closeness, at least. I can tell you ahead of time, if we migrate to telegram, there will be a low patronage and the reason is not far fetch.

Thank you.

TheTony Blair Institute for Global Change, has published a report, about last week.

And from their sources are claiming that near 2000 Nigerian armed forces personnel have been killed by Boko Haram between 2018 and 2020.

I was expecting some critical comments about this and the long term socio-economic impacts on the region and Nigeria as a whole.

With some more indepth analysis on the progress so far from a military perspective. Winning or loosing and or stalemate. But NOTHING but silence.

But we are fervently talking about an irrelevant corrupt police man in an intrinsically corruption ridden police force.

Almost every IG from inception has been stained with corruption for the past 35 years plus.

So why are we concerned, I just am puzzled what's the point. Police and armed robbers have quite a few things in common.

That’s if the number ain’t under reported. The Late 2018 to early 2019 remains one of the darkest era in the Nigeria Army NE war

How can you say 2018 to 2019 is the darkest era !
I can confidently say that the numbers are not true and they are infliated, so you're saying over 1000 soldier died yearly between 2018 and 2019. How do they came across the figures, what's the average death in a BHT ambush or attack on F.O.B, how many successful terrorist attacks that resulted in the death of soldiers ?
The really dark days or era where between 2014 to 2016. BH really messed the military up.

Human Rights lawyer, Mr Femi Falana, SAN has demanded for prosecution of about 400 sponsors of terrorism reported to have been arrested by the federal government some months ago.

In a Freedom of Information, FoI, requested dated August 3, 2021 and forwarded to the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, SAN, Falana is also demanding for information on the charges which ought to have filed against the arrested terrorism sponsors.

The letter reads: “On May 4 2021, it was widely reported widely by the media that the Federal Government had concluded arrangement to prosecute about 400 alleged sponsors and financiers of terrorism in Nigeria.

“In the said publication, your office assured the nation that the suspects would be arraigned after the industrial action embarked upon by the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).

In view of the attacks being unleashed on law abiding citizens by groups surgents in several parts of the country, we strongly commend the move by the Federal Government to prosecute the suspects who were reported to have been arrested in a nationwide operation a few months ago.

“We, however, request that our law firm be furnished with information with respect to when criminal charges were filed against the suspects since the strike by JUSUN has since been called off.

“Kindly ensure that we are furnished with the requested information within 7 days of the receipt of this letter in accordance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, 2011.”

Violent Protest Rocks Plateau Community On Tuesday Night, with Many Vehicles Burnt and several persons feared killed in the Akpata area of the state.

A violent protest on Tuesday night rocked Gada-Biu in the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State as some residents held demonstrations to show their displeasure at the sorry state of insecurity in the area.

The protest started in the evening and gradually degenerated with the protesters burning vehicles, an eyewitness told SaharaReporters.

The source added that upon the deployment of security, the violence degenerated further and gunshots could be heard.

However, it was not clear if anyone was injured at the time of filing this report.

"It started this (Tuesday) evening and the presence of security operatives worsened the situation as they started shooting. But we can't say yet if anyone was injured. By tomorrow morning, more details would have emerged.

"Such protests are not new in Gada-Biu as residents of the area have since grown tired of the killings in their area," the source said.

This is the side effect of having such groups operating among civilians.
When militancy was high in Delta State, every young man in the creek was a suspect undecided even kidnapped victims were arrested and later release after identification.

Orlu, Imo State

Popular Orlu based Pastor, Benjamin Ohiagu, of the Bible Believers Mission Inc, has narrated how he escaped death by the whiskers when the Nigerian Army opened fire on his car while he was inside it.

According to Pastor Ohiagu, on the 1st of August 2021, he had driven to Afor-gidi Market, by Banana junction, Orlu, to buy vegetables. He was almost at the market when several Hilux trucks carrying Nigerian Soldiers suddenly came through Okporo Road near the Market, and the Soldiers opened fire sporadically as people took to their heels.

Pastor Ohiagu said that as soon as he saw what was happening, he stopped the car, turned on the central lock and lay on the floor of the car. The Army then turned their guns on his car and rained bullets on it while he was still inside it.

While recording a video of his bullet riddled car, Pastor Ohiagu said it was a miracle that no bullet hit him as the Army spent over 5 minutes shooting at his car before driving off. He lamented why the Soldiers would do this to him when he was not part of the unknown gunmen(UGM)

He ended by saying that his faith had been strengthened to God after surviving the ordeal.

Even with this their brute way, they couldn't end militancy in the Niger Delta till Yardua gave the militant millions of dollars for them to lay low.

Now in this 2021, Nigerian security personnel still they use this same method. ESN can't be defeated this way, it will only lead to more anger, violence and bloodshed.
