City just want to waste money for no reason

Grealish will not do more than what the guys there have done

I disagree. Guardiola has a history of having a different understanding of using players to perform beyond their believed ability.

Sterling is an example. We saw the same with Gundogan last season and to an extent Cancello.

Make no mistake, Grealish is not some spend money craze project but it has taken some careful study to reach this decision.

He has a gift of creating chances. Guardiola will harness it.

gundogan and sterling hv been good players before pep came on board. I will agree with you if you say pep's style and tactics favors flair, creative and attack minded players

It is just not the style of play but you get to see a different dimension of the player. I was discussing with a sports expert on Sunday and I told him something.

If you think Harry Kane is a high quality player, expect him to become fiercer under Guardiola.

Jack Grealish has a knack for creating chances. He will create more and they will result in more goals. You will get to appreciate him more than how people think he is not worth the amount.

Same was said when we bought the likes of Cancelo and Walker. Under Guardiola, it led to people saying that the reason Guardiola succeeds because of how high the quality of the players are. Forgetting his systematic inputs improve their consistency.

Not so, it's a way of systematically weakening the small teams with potentials to cause upset

What about systematically empowering smaller teams to buy better players? With that money, it increases Villa's buying power. People never consider that.

Football has the most confused analysts ever. grin

JACK GREALISH IS NOT WORTH 100M POUNDS, WASTE OF MONEY.

GUARDIOLA IS A FRAUD, SPENDING 100M JUST TO DOMINATE THE LEAGUE.

Either the player is good or not. If Jack Grealish is not worth the money, then Guardiola is not getting a huge edge securing the player.

If Jack Grealish performs well, it is because of the input of Guardiola, not because he bought a blazing player.

The fact is that Jack Grealish is quality and he will excel and perform better under the tutelage of Guardiola. People should just say it how it is.

While up to 10 clubs are interested in Maduka Okoye including Reims, Bournemouth, Ajax, AZ and Anderlecht.

Sparta Rotterdam want him for one more year, as they want his value to skyrocket in the league, AFCON, or if longer, World Cup.

And they have tied him down to one extra year.

Filling Jack Grealish with one player is difficult but you can fill multiple areas of the team with more quality with such a large sale. It all falls down to utilizing the money well.

Totally disagree. When a genuinely good player joins a better team than he has been playing in, he becomes better and then everyone gives the coach the credit of improving him.

Grealish will be training everyday with world class players at man city not the likes of El ghazi and McGinn....of course he will improve!!

So what space comes into tactical advances.

Example, Guardiola insisting Gundogan has more to offer the game than sitting deep to control the midfield. Under Guardiola, he got encouraged to make more runs into the box when the team is in advanced position.

What of Guardiola instructing Cancelo to utilize more of his midfield ability to play centrally during offensive plays.

Or encouraging Sterling to dwell more on off-the-ball runs to taking the ball on runs which made him more efficient.

Are these just due to playing with better players and total neglect of the impact of the manager.

What is most interesting is how will Guardiola use Grealish. What are the positional switches he will make to get him playing in a more efficient manner.

This is beyond just playing with better players but tactical depth.

No he doesn't. He only used him there due to injuries. When the injury crises was over he went back to his usual position even after he showed he could be an option further up the pitch.

If the claim that Guardiola improved Sterling was valid when he was in form, does Guardiola also take the blame for his poor form last season? Sterling by the way was phenomenal for Liverpool doing the same things he did at Man city.

Louder please!
Guardiola fan boys will be hyping him as if he is some programmer who opens players' heads to insert new codes.

If he is such a genius... Why does he keep buying high quality players?
Why can't he buy Ajagun and turn him to a world class midfielder?
