APC discovered sunrise coy is not capable etc. A reassessment was done to ascertain if really they were not capable and if really it was inflated. The allegations was found to be true, as such it was terminated. Sunrise went to international court and got the judgment.

Mambila Power project was awarded in 2003 and YarAdua canceled it without following due process in 2007. So, it became a legal issue for Nigeria as the contractor went to court for compensation. The original award against Nigeria was $400m until Buhari renegotiated it to $200m. So, na one of PDPs inherited garbages.

Go and read about the project and how we got to this point before spewing rubbish. Your darling PDP signed the useless contract with the useless Chinese company several years ago. Buhari is simply cleaning up the mess crated by PDP so that we can proceed with the project.

I don't enjoy blame games.

If you say I am not qualified for something, prove it beyond reasonable doubt. The court is a world stage not a national thing that can be manipulated.

If you look at the write up, 4 billion was pen down for 3000 plus mw of electricity. But the new contract is for 1 mw of electricity for 3 billion. That is a business blunder.

What they should have done is obtain from the coy a certificate of competence and insurance in like weight should they deliver below standard.

When Jonathan set up the sovereign wealth fund, you all came for his head, that same sovereign wealth fund has become cash cow for the present govt, and Buhari want to put hand inside and take away $200 million.

Instead of reviewing the project upward, the present govt is reviewing it downwards to half of the initial megawatts awarded by PDP just because of $1 billion, that they now have to pay $200 million for damages.

Falana is a lawyer, so because he is a Nigerian, he should watch the Nigerian government treat a company bad right? You seriously don't have a point.

Why blame PDP.
The present administration in 2017 terminate the contract instead of regularizing the lapses in the initial agreement with Sunrise Power Coy Ltd. They re awarded the contract without taking cognizance of the breach in the initial agreement now a whopping $200m shall be paid as compensation in a country that's borrowing for virtually all her financial obligations.
