Just write a letter in word document informing them to continue with your application and upload it where you are expected to upload IELTS and MBS, after submitting it, your current status will automatically change to 'submitted'. I hope this helps Bushboy009: |

@Lianna2020...when you say 50/50..... i just found out this from a masters student at UNI of BC who is a friend.. she is a Mastercard scholarship student (1st class). During her application for student visa Mastercard gave them a dedicated Immigration assistant to help them have a smooth application and transition. The immigration Assistant told/advised her to apply for SP and avoid applying for SOWP for her husband. she should just apply for the visiting visa for the husband. That this increases his chances of getting approval via Visiting visa than SOWP. Which they did and they both where issued the visa. The immigration assistant advised them once the husband gets into the country he can apply for SOWP easily by driving or getting to the immigration border and get his SOWP (that it is his entitlement to get SOWP once he is present in the country) issued same day (esp in BC dont know if there is a restriction in other Province) this was before Covid, during Covid you apply for it online it takes less than 2 months max. This worked for them This makes sense to me. She said some of her colleagues that applied for SOWP and where unlucky are still finding it difficult to get their spouse SOWP or Visa approved. For those of us that are well experience and those that are already in Canada what are your views?.... I would like us to explore this pathway Lianna2020: 4 Likes 2 Shares |

@Anon yea your correct but this oyinbo people can live together for years (as Common law partners) and then officially marry ....So its all lies on LOE....am still skeptical of the % approval rate for Sowp...than the spouse just applying for visiting and then get SOWP later when he/she arrives Anon123: |

Good morning house, I see people emphasizing on explaining the lump sum in the account . I didn’t explain my lump sum in my account since I’m the co-sponsor and my main sponsor is my mom . But I make sure I uploaded my MBS right from inception till date ( 2018-2021) and this account was opened in nysc camp and the payment paid during my service year are kept their as savings without withdrawals and now the money is little bit huge with little personal savings since 2018 till date . Is not explaining is a problem now ? And if the VO ain’t daft he/she should check the history right from 2018 .. Abeg make person explain lump sum for me sef because I no understand 1 Like |

Is it a must one pay for tuition before one leaves Nigeria?? Of one can go pay over there ? Amen to this! An enrollment letter is evidence that you have registered for AND started attending classes. I can't speak for all schools but for my own school, the International Transition Coordinators mentioned that those for semesters that had not yet commenced, the new students cannot access an enrollment letter. I know a lot of debate happens here on the enrollment letter subject, but reach out to your school to be sure you can't get it. To be honest, your letter of acceptance and proof of tuition payment is what you need for checks. Don't worry about the vaccination. I know some schools are organizing vaccinations for their students. You will have to quarantine at your accommodation when you land, instead of staying at a hotel. This is if your flight is after August 9. There is no need to worry.[/quote] |

It depends on your school, for some schools once you register for your courses you would be sent an enrollment letter, for some you have to get the letter by yourself through your student portal, while for others you might need to message the appropriate person in charge of that in the school to get it patty10: |
