We plan to leave the kids in 8ja for now till January as well. My wife (dependants) will be applying for her visa next week do we need to write a cover letter for the reason for our kids not going with us and where they will be staying? Did u write write anything of such because during my applications I already wrote that I got three kids.

Paragraph ST34.2 of the Immigration rules in respect of dependant children states:

 

ST 34.2. Each of the applicant’s parents must either be applying at the same time as the applicant or have permission to be in the UK (other than as a visitor) unless:

 

[a] the parent with permission as a Student or as a partner of a Student is the sole surviving parent; or

[b] the parent with permission as a Student or as a partner of a Student has sole responsibility for the childs upbringing; or

[c] the decision maker is satisfied that there are serious and compelling reasons to grant the child entry clearance or permission to stay in, the UK with the parent who has permission on the Student route or as a dependant partner of a Student.

 

Please provide us with some information regarding your child’s father not joining you in the UK, as we are unable to proceed until this information is received.

 

Please respond within 10 working days.  If we do not receive the information requested in the specified time frame a decision will be made based on the available information.

1. Can main applicant and dependent apply at intervals. Reason is that both POF will get to 28days at 1week interval. So main applicant is thinking of applying first while dependent apply 1week after .

2. And also main applicant is using joint account own by the husband and wife as his POF, does he need consent letter from the partner if they won't be applying together.

3. When main applicant is filling the form and the question are you travelling with dependent is asked, what is the best answer ? Because i saw a refusal letter yesterday where someone choose YES and he's being rejected on that basis because the POF can't be enough for the dependent even though they didn't put in application.

My spouse that left the UK 8 years ago.

A question in her form is asking if she has received medical treatment in the UK.

I answered no because we assumed it refers to serious medical issues which she never had. Just routine checks like pap smear or cold and flu symptoms. Hope this is ok. We already submitted and did biometrics yesterday.

I got to VI center today around 4:55am.. (1st on the list for walk-in) I didn’t leave till like 2pm.

Good morning guys, please i need your candid opinion and advise, Wifey is the primary applicant going for study September intake and like 80% of the school fee paid already and waiting for Pre CAS interview but something came up for her at her work place a VERY top management Course came up which she ordinary did not qualify for but her immediate boss who is a foreigner put up her name for it and she's the only one from Nigeria registered for it also the course is costing the company like $6k which has already been paid for and it's starting mid Aug to end in October, we are at a dilemma now not to spoil the relationship with the boss and allowing the company waste that kind of money as there is plan to work with the branch of the company in the UK after study..

Below are my questions:

1.Is it possible to defer the admission till January after making payment.

2.Should we wait till after the pre CAS interview from the school before informing them about the deferment to avoid another rush towards January.

3.Should we get CAS first before telling the school and use same to apply for VISA around November and travel in december.

Kind response will be appreciated .

It was added to “Priority Visa Fee” making £275 in total.. and I used my Stanbic USD Card.

It’s 42K for Walk-In and you pay via POS.

You will get your result and certificate same day. Just get there early like 7am. They would start calling names by 7:30am.
