There was a time I got a contract job in Bayelsa state with a construction company (short term work though). Men I saw life in another dimension entirely. Me that have lived in city all my life, I never knew people can actually live and survive in such situation.

It was a remote riverine village in Bayelsa State, but the company that took us for the job put us in an house boat with security. But after the days job, we normally go into the community (angala) as it's normally called to interact with them and flow with them too. Nnaa men, see way of life, chai. Fun though but really strange, but to them it's normal. Could u believe they are some grown-up adults there that have never left the community since birth, they have never seen a car b4 or a tared road never. Everything around them it's just river and Creek.

We stay for about 2months plus b4 we delivered the job. Stressful but fun. I really enjoyed the village people so receptive and accommodating. Will love to visit there some time again.

Even hardcore career zombies are claiming entrepreneurship on this thread. Wonders shall never end

If you're using Naija as your location it'll be difficult but not impossible to get jobs. Try buying or find a way to get an upwork account with U.S., Canada, or top European countries as your location, your story will change.

You can also check some random websites that you know and send them emails too. Tell them what is wrong with their website and how you can help them make it better, just for a small change.

I’m an experienced travel agent, musician and an apprentice in car restoration and maintenance. I no be hush puppy I get working for all I do. I also get good deals on major shopping outlets and I also have access to PS5 for retail sales. None on site. I also have a referral business where I connect you with the best in service industry major or small business for repairs and I hope to work with Mercedes Benz one day as their interior and performance consultant.

Don't dive into the exams at crossover.com o. U go wound.

My advice, create a dummy account unrelated to you. Create a new email address if you have to. Don't put your real phone number. Leave your LinkedIn blank. Have a go at the tests. I stumbled at the aptitude tests stage. U get two attempts. If you fail the first one. You have a 2nd final attempt. If u fail that 2nd one na 6 months wait. So DON'T RUSH

I am on reddit to try and get exposure to US markets. That's how I got the connection for the VOIP opening. Fingers crossed that it comes out successful. I didn't join reddit looking for jobs o. I joined to grow my knowledge. The opening was one I stumbled across on one of the subreddds I follow
