We already talked about it
We need to stop appointing politicians as ministers mostly sport ministers. Ministerial positions should be reserved for technocrats like ngozi iweala, femi adesina, omoloba johnson, nweke junior, berth nnaji etc this are men with vatse knowledge and have nothing to do with mediocrity.
Sunday Dare is a former governorship aspirant in oyo state,he was obviously given the ministerial position to be compensated and such will aspire for governorship again come 2023

Jonathan did same thing when he appointed the sacked LG chairman in rivers state by amaechi sport minister...the sport minister was so clueless that he resurfaced the Pinnick-Giwa rift even when the court for arbitration already ruled in pinnick favour with evidence and all the inept sport minister resurfaced the issue and incapacitated pinnick from sacking keshi...he was the reason why good luck loss at the election didnt pain me much when it comes to sport even though dalung did same thing and was constantly fighting with pinnick

This episode has been so embarrassing but it is good to show how corrupt those running our sports really are.

Now they have messed our image because of money sharing formula. That is the whole problem. I wonder how I still care about this system. We should just set up private projects and do our team.

National image does not exist with these armed robbers running our sports.

Athletics Federation Of Nigeria Signs Four Deal With Puma
Moses Ojewunmi 0 October 31, 2019 1:05 pm

Athletics Federation of Nigeria ( AFN) has signed a four year kitting deal with Germany-based sports Puma.

Puma’s Senior Manager Corporate Communications, Robert-Jan Bartunek, Puma confirmed the that agreement was reached just before the just concluded IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

President of AFN Ibrahim Gusau had hinted that Nigeria athletes will don the gears of Puma to major tournaments including the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, African Games as well as World Championships for the next four years.

So why will what ever problem the Minister have with the deal stop the fine work Puma did?

Why should it affect the players? Why stop the kits from Puma getting to the players if the man is not evil, corrupt and greedy?

Puma is a business for Christ sake it took corporate responsibility to make this happen.

No matter the shady deals that he might claim happened, it should not stop the work of Puma and the players.

You waste your time quote him on this matter

What does Adeleye the vice president of AFN stand to gain by denting the already battered image of Dare This act from him didnt start today, we saw it during the edo state national sports festival where there was scrabble for funds and the tourney was stopped mid way because of money

The bone of congestion here, between AFN and Sunday Dare, is a Clause in the Contract, and the payment of the contractual fees into a private Account,

Now can you tell me why such?

That has nothing to do with Puma or the athletes. Get the kits to the athletes and allow the athletes work while you sort out internal issues in the Sports Ministry.

What concerns Puma or the athletes if the AFN and Sports Ministry are scrambling for money sharing formula.

I am seriously scared should we qualify for the world cup. The problem is virtually all Nigerians have their favourite thief as a result of tribal or religious affliation and when this thieves are caught they come out openly to defend them even when the thief is busy stealing and ransacking their future

I got your points, thing is as a supervising minister, they are suppose to carry them along,

Alexander, Sunday and AFN should take the blames

Since the day of their last triumph, they had been falter to deceive in the continent,

Am tired of hearing they would had win this, or that, it's always in their hands, yet they find a way to throw it away,

The main blame falls on the Minister who likely terminated the supply of the kits to the athletes.

That greedy and poor judgment is the context of the whole thing. He should know how to manage issues by first preserving the image of the country and ensure a hitch free event.

On the sideline, handle whatever wrong doing that occurred along the line. That is why reports are prepared after events, studied and alternative plans made to prevent reoccurring incidences.

Unfortunately, we are used to using ill-equipped people to manage complex scenarios.

Or develop Osimhen to a better player. There is a history of shifting forwards to the wings to master wing play, so during play as a center forward, they can make use of pockets of spaces during build up play.

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI: JURGEN KLOPP MADE ME A MORE COMPLETE PLAYER

"When I left after the second season, I wanted to take the next step -- but suddenly I was playing in a No. 10 role. I was quite mad because I wanted to play up front.

"It was only in the following year that I realised how much I had learned while playing in that position. I told myself: 'You have become a better player.' Then I realised why the coach had asked me to play as a No.10; he made me a more complete player."
