Bosses in the house, Good Morning - Obviously PHP has been the more popular technology for years, professional developers are increasingly opting for Node.js.

Which would you rather go for, and you're reasons

As a php guy with extensive knowledge of laravel....use node... smiley

Well it all depends on what you are doing... I am currently rewriting the entire backend of a large app from laravel to express because of how the work is designed and some performance issues i couldn't just overlook or its handled better with node...so as i said it depends on what you are doing

Stick to what you are good at. Because everyone is doing it doesn't mean you should to. I for one is a PHP guy, and I don't think I will be moving from that anytime soon.

PHP for life
Seriously I don't think I can leave PHP for now
One thing I don't like about those react and node js is their bulkiness especially node modules. Somethings required libraries and packages so one must have to be connected online regularly.

But with PHP I can design a complex and standard website without downloading any package. And I can move around with my project file anywhere I go. All I need is to install WAMP and a text editor which can be done offline and I'm good to.

I regard node as rich men language after learning some basis of react native grin
I used about 5GB just to set up my coding environment. After that, to navigate between pages one must download a package, to use date input field same also etc so I have to paused
