@ICaSNg and others, Please what is the process for Irish citizen children who want to undergo their undergraduate programs in Ireland? Is NECO result okay or WAEC must be provided? Do they need to write an English test too? We are working towards January 2022 since the join family visa was refused. Kindly assist |

Yasiin: When i need to pay anything exceeding $100,i buy and send dollars to my dollar prepaid account to pay with card. Keralis: Hi, Either NECO, WAEC or GCSE is acceptable as Irish citizens do not need to apply for visas from Nigeria. You should however try applying for September 2021 as undergraduate programs are mostly available in September. For January/ feb 2022 , to the best of my knowledge only Griffith will be available for undergraduate entry programs. |

Thank you ICaSNg. The child is still writing NECO and WAEC will start immediately after. Can he still apply pending when the results are out? That is the exact url. On my end, I am going for the lowest offer - Medicover Standard, which costs about €150. Just fill in your details on the form provided on the homepage and get a quote tailored for you. NEROSKY: |

Your child will pay international students fee if they haven’t lived in Ireland for the past 5 years. Unless you want your kid to go to private university, she/he must apply through CAO for admission. CAO admission is once in a year Keralis: |

Mine is just for 1 year. Also, I think your visa type should be "Study Visa - Stamp 2" and not "Graduate Visa - Stamp 1G". NEROSKY:

Thanks for your response. I will look into it as soon as possible. However, I have other questions. - How much (in €) did you pay for your insurance and what were you charged locally? - Did you incur any extra charges? Looking out for your response to these. Thanks once again. Lunette: |

I paid 160 euros only and I wasn't charged any direct extra amount by Barter. However, I had to fund my dollar card, so you might want to consider the exchange rate. Yasiin: |

Kunfu: You have left a lot unspoken. What course would you like to do? What is your passion? Where do you have relevant work experience? Your best bet is to read this series from page 1 to this one. As you read, a lot will become clearer and then you can ask focused questions |

Yasiin: Thank you, i just realise is €uro not $ dollar. Wahala no too much bayii? How do you get around paying euro or I'm i missing something? |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Dwebb55: 10:26am On Aug 08, 2021 |
Sarto: It depends on the circumstances. However, your date of birth should not be subject to change and you can imagine the thoughts of the VO attending to your application! If there are discrepancies in your DoB, which is a red flag then other discrepancies are further highlighted and amplified. Why do you have different DoB's? What action have you taken to remedy this error(if it is an error)? Have you explained the circumstances that resulted in this in a clear, concise way? When you answer these questions, then you will know if this infraction is serious or not! |
