tourphland: Most applications from this side have VAC, Nairobi as the office handling the it, so Nairobi would be my best guess. However, you did have to send the general webform, like multiple times, then their acknowledgement would point you to you specific office. |

MJ1000:Embassy can't Refuse your study permit application because you sent them mail. Sending them mail and Webform is the best thing to do in your case. Also, you can contact a Member of Parliament of Canada representing the constituents where you school is, ask him to help you expedite the process. The Admission you got that time, did you differ it? Remember they would not make use of the old MyBankStatement you Submitted since December. Though they will ask for it when they need it. I feel there is something you didn't read well in your GCMS notes that's holding your application. Check it thoroughly. |

EmeeNaka: Thank you for your response Emeka. I will do just and also contact a member Member of the Parliament of Canada representing the constituent in BC. I did not defer my admission, i started my classes inline in April 2021, and I'm currently in my second semester. Is there a way i can forward you the GCMS notes? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by EmeeNaka: 8:52am On Aug 08, 2021 |
MJ1000:Well, you can forward your GCMS notes to my mail, let's check it together and see if there is something that need to be attended to. |

Johnmark247: Hello Johnmark247, Without the transcript, U of M may not finalize the processing of your admission without an official transcript, or a tangible reason why it should be processed on the ground of issuing a "conditional admission" letter that needs fulfilling before course registration and/or class start. Since the inability to get your official transcript is due to Covid-19 related obstructions, send screenshot evidence of the reach-out email sent to your graduate school coupled with an explanatory reason of school closure as the challenging factor hindering the accessibility of your official transcript. It will be deliberated on by the graduate committee and may most likely be granted and considered for a conditional offer letter. Share the correspondence of the plea for a temporary "transcript" waiver with the international admissions office, your program coordinator, and department administrative secretary. Best of Luck |

Hello guy. I sent a cold email to a professor who agreed that she wants me for a PhD at western university in a biology department. She said i should apply for winter (January). I applied in late May and I am yet to hear from the University. I read on the website that it takes a while before the admission committee replies. I got a mail that my application os completed and forwarded to the department. Please does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to hear from the biology admission office? 1 Like |

JayEjabz: Hello JayEjabz, After the R10 check, and prior to opening by an officer, the application can go fast or slow. If it goes fast, the verification of the LOA, IELTS, and MBS can be requested on the same day but the verification responses may not be received by IRCC at the same time. The verification process can be triggered one-month prior to submission and maybe more if there is a delay. The verification can be done almost the same time as when the background check starts, immediately an eligibility review is about to start or in the process, or almost at the end of the background check. Most times, the background and eligibility check runs concurrently and if this becomes the case; the verification, criminality, info sharing, etc. will begin almost the same time. Note that, despite being rare, a secondary verification can still be done for the LOA or MBS (excluding IELTS) at almost the end of the eligibility review assessment or when about to finalize the application. This can be experienced only with the MBS. Best of Luck 2 Likes |

RoyalDukeDon: Hello RoyalDukeDon, If you are changing course within the same DLI, you don't need to notify IRCC, and will not affect your PGWP prospect application. Do it from within Canada. Best of Luck 1 Like |

Good afternoon guys. This community is an amazing one. Bigups to everyone who have a source of help and assistance to others. Congratulations to everyone that has gotten their PPR, may Canada favour you all and to the rest of us still awaiting our good news, may God almighty grant all of our heart desires very soon. Amen. I have three questions and I will be glad to get some answers to it: Firstly, my medical appointment with Qlife is on August 17th but I feel I might not be chanced at work that day, but I would be chanced to go this new week. If I should go on Tuesday, will they allow me do my medical or I will be sent back home since it's just a week left to my appointed date? Secondly, when I submitted my study permit application through the normal route on May 15, I didn't submitted my own personal account details, I only submitted that of my two sponsors. Is it ''too late" to quickly do a MBS for my account of about 750k and forward it via the webform and email since my reseumotion is September 7th and God's willing I get a positive final decision before then? Lastly, for those of us that used the service of a Representative, as the principal applicant, can I send any documents by myself through the webform/email or it still has to be done by my immigration lawyer/representative? Thank you. 1 Like |

Wonderful of you JustMellow. You've just tossed the coin with precision. I've just managed to get the registrar's official email and his sec's contact number. I've sent them a Request Letter to forward my Official Transcript to the U of M as necessary. Looking forward to hearing from them with the week, hopefully. Thanks and remain blessed. JustMellow: |
