JohnBullMySon: It seems you've not gone abroad i mean africa countrjes Because you should know that countries like Seychelles,Mauritius, South africa,Tunisia, Senegal, Egypt, Bostwana are doing way better than Nigeria in political, infrastructural, economic, human development so whats the point u argue that Nigeri a is doing better than this countries? We don't even have stable electricity, terrorism swells currently have the 3rd and 4th deadliest terrorism group in the world in our country When it comes to percentage of poor people in the world, minimum wage, highest infant mortality rate, highest road accidents index, terrorism and failed state index we have it more than them and even one of the highest in the world Have you even been and live in the core north Go there and see naked poverty, you'll see thousands of kids going to millions with plates running from house to house begging for food Kids that are supposed to be school but not in school and don't even hear english 7 Likes |

do4luv14: The citizens do vote many nigerians vote base on sentiments..... no matter how good a man from edo state is for example he can never be president of Nigeria because of his tribe except by coincidence like what happened with Jonathan. Your tribal and religion affliation play a large rule on who become a governor or president and even in some states in the east if you're not a catholic or Anglican you may never win the governorship election |

humility33: andrew444: one of the main reasons GEJ lost the elections is terr:orist expl:osions happening in Abuja... If b:uhari hands over to a southerner that terr:orism is going to be back in full force.. remember they ( northerners and northern politicians ) said they will make GEJ's tenure ungovernable... If buha:ri hands over to a southerner all they have to do is what they did during GEJ's tenure with the help of the tin:ubu and some south westerner's.. If a southerner is president the north just has to get another southern tribe to protest against the southerner while also carrying out terr:orist explo:sions and att:acks in some places and also the help of foreign cable news channel to help blow it out of imagination. In summary, even if the person is better than buha:ri some people will ensure Nigeria is ungovernable and you guys will be back ignorantly saying "I told you so" instead of "they are making this tenure ungovernable"... |

codemaniacs: God bless you bro You nailed it Remember excepts from a northern elder after Gej victory in 2011 that they'll frustrate him out and make the country ungovernable for him Even Buhari never accepted the result of that election that seriously made many of his supporters to start the post election violence and about 11 youth corpers were killed... immediately after that election boko haram started bomb churches every Sun day and the country was now something else Now we have got another desperadoin ATIKU that wanna rule by all means...just feed up 2 Likes |

humility33: eng:lish is not an indigenous language in Nigeria so its not important that people speak engl:ish... most of what you mention affects northern Nigeria only and not southern Nigeria.. Nigeria can never have stable electricity due to people who want to ensure a united Nigeria.. under-development, religion and poverty are tools for controlling people to ensure Nigerians remain subservient.... that's why they can shoot live bullets at protesters and the U:N and other world organ:isations won't say anything or would pretend to do something ( like they did during en:ds:ars ) when in reality they are the ones who sanctioned the shooting of the protesters.. |

codemaniacs: The way the world is going right now Knowing how to speak English, french, Spanish, Chinese or Portuguese is sacrasaunt. Ths official language of Nigeria is English, it is a requirement for recruitment in both government and privateinstitutions so not knowing how to speak English in a country where English is the official language is ridiculous and no brainer 1 Like |

humility33: Engl:ish is the language for interviews, exams, documents e.t.c.. it is not the language of communication... you put "English, french, Spanish, Chinese or Portuguese" above igbo, yoruba, hausa, swahili, zulu, xhosa, akan just highlights how you reason.... |

codemaniacs: When you get to UN security council or FIFA, Specialised UN Agencies, ADB, OAU,OPEC etc speak hausa and Yoruba for them okay You seems not to understand I am a recruiter thats why i know folks who are bilingual especially competent in English and other world languages are seriously preferred over those that speak just English except they possess some special skills for multinational coys Speaking your local dialect shouldn't stop you from been smart to know at least the official language spoken in your country because thats the language mainly used in global stage |

humility33: how many Nigerians will work at those places we are talking about Nigeria so limit your answers to within Nigeria and organisations in Nigeria.. does the Chinese president speak english If you're important to them they will look for an interpreter or give you places where you can attend language class... Bale has been in Real Madrid for years and he still can't speak spanish fluently according to the media.. lets stop here... |

mostob: The issue is we are a footballing Nation with football academies all over the place and talents are been discovered every time. Also we have young players in obscuy leagues in Europe that can easily emerge out if obscurity into a top 10 league and challey the foreiny borns. A foreiy born that waits for too long might find out that one home grown talent has emergrdy and face stiff competition. Anyway life is about competition and let the best win. Even tammyy abrahy will have osimhen and other strikers to battle with if he chat his mind. 3 yeardy ago he will be in the first team but it is getting harder as time goes on 5 Likes 2 Shares |

codemaniacs: Talk what you know ooo i work in a multinational coy so my thinking is different from yours. Anyone that thinks broad now the world is a global village you dont just do business in Nigeria anymore many nigerians are working in Google, UN (currently a nigeria is the deputy secretary general),ADB,World Bank,FAO,FHi360,German corporation,SHELL etc the president of chinese hears English and moreover Chinese is China official language and one of the 5 UN Security council official language spoken, putin speaks English, many world leaders speaks and communicate in English, the more language you can speak the easier your chances on getting a job or opportunities. It is in Nigeria and africa we elect dumb presidents that cant speak any other official language beside English |

humility33: presidents of togo, benin, niger, chad, mali, senegal, ivory coast don't know how to speak english they speak french.. most African presidents and Africans themselves speak the language of the country that colonized their own country. First issue is you denigrate African languages. second issue is you denigrate African presidents. what's next I don't think from a multi-national point of view, I think from an African ethnic point of view... the goal of a true African is to empower Africans and African culture not to make Africans suffer from extreme inferiority complex like you're exhibiting now... most Africans won't work in those places they'll work in their home countries so its the local languages that's spoken in their own countries that are important... someone who works in a multinational company in Nigeria will still use the local language of where the company is located to communicate especially when at least 70% of the employees are of the same ethnicity.. 1 Like |
