Good evening nairalanders,

At about two days ago, I decided to pay a courtesy visit to my mum in my home town- Abeokuta, from Lagos. On getting home, everyone was overjoyed to see since it's been a while I last went home. My stay at home was just two days shy as I was expected to be back in Lagos today so as to get get ready for work tomorrow.

As I was about to leave today, mum--You know our African mothers Nah, has arranged some little foodstuffs- like 2 paints of rice, 1 bottle of palm oil, I bottle of palm oil, 3 spaghetti, 2 big dangote salt, Maggie sachet and even went to our backyard farm to fetch me vegetables like Shoko and Gure( water leaf). Well, I was happy cos' it kind off add to my foodstuffs and that means I would have to spend less on foodstuffs back in lagos

I checked out and head to Lagos. On getting to the bus park, I kinda noticed that the sack which my foodstuffs are packed have 3 replicas in the booth. No homo, I sha know say anyone wey one carry go know him sack. Our bus reached its final destination and I checked the booth it's just one sack then, I assume every other person had figured out their sack and had alighted so, I picked my sack and head to my apartment. As, I was going I noticed the sack was kinda heavy-- no Ya wa. Just when I reach home to unpack the sack. I noticed this was not the content of what my mum packed--- omo I shock. I searched further. These are but what I found inside
1.Yam flour( black and white)
2. About a paint of rice
3. A sachet of semo
4. Pepper; tomato, tatashe
5. Dried fish (agbodo)
6. Ewedu
7. About 20 onions
8. 1 sachet of chicken flavour
9. About two paint of Garri ijebu
10. 3 big locust beans
11. Ungrinded melon.

I honestly don't know how to connect the person and returning them will be going back to the park in my hometown.

I know how the person will feel right now, very bad. I don't know what to do? I Can't just start eating them, to me it will prick my conscience and I won't feel good. My feeling is maybe the person wants to sell them. I just don't know

Please what should I do?

You are an adult, I know nairaland is to share ideas but show ur maturity here small abeg, visit the bus terminal and ask if any complain of such..
If u used one that is not popular, u have to visit were u first loaded and ask , the most important thing is to try your best
After, if u can't find it eat everything small small and keep record in case someone trace you and u need to replace it back
If it can't go down ur throat, just give it out to pastor or someone u know is in need

Not likely for you to find the owner. Since your conscience wouldn't allow to eat it peacefully I advise you hand it out to a struggling family in your neighbourhood.
