The septic tank will always have issues in the long run and that's why we advice people to install a biodigester instead because it'll never get full neither will it contaminate ground water.
The biodigester is very efficient and works wonders.

Some of them may have more than 8 months to stay before expiration of their rent. Going back to tell your parents that you need another house rent may not be on the cards now. The landlord is just evil.

This reminds of Uniben Hall 3 block E of those days. There was a burst pipe that was meant to convey faeces from the top floor down to the soakaway pit. Na so I dey pass that day I come see something wey be like spilled porridge wey full the whole ground...behind the bathroom... Mehn I couldn't eat anything the whole day. That was the first and last time I visited that hall.
Nigerian Students from poor homes pass through a lot in order to get education. Just imagine living in this kind of shitty and unhygienic compound?

What I dont understand here why do they have to wait for their landlord to come and clean their soak away pit for them, it is their duty as the occupant of the building to call for a sewage to clean up their soak away pit when ever the need. They should also call their landlord to come and pick their trash bags when ever it is ready to by trash.

I'm not talking about responsibility, I only respond to your telling them to pack. Some tenants usually pay for maintenance, water, electricity (PHCN and gen), etc

there is nothing like wrong suggestion. I my self I am a landlord also a tenant. Where I stay as a tenant my landlord dont clean our soak away pit for us when ever the the need be we task our self and clean it up. And my tenant have never call me any day to help the clean their soak away pit when ever the need be they no how they task their self and take care of that. They can still call their landlord to clean their trash for them and still pay their electric Bill's

The only luck the have is that state environmental are no longer doing their work, by now every occupant in that building is supposed to be in the police cell. For not keeping their environment clean. From the look of things the flats in that building is up to ten flats what will it cost them to contribute at list 3k per flat to clean their environment once in every year. Please every thing is not fun or social media out cry. This what I call self witchcraft
