gidgiddy: No doubt the cause has massive support. That is not in question. But you need more than lockdowns to make any serious headway. Even if they lockdown everyday for 1 year, it won't make any difference to the cause as long as the lockdown is only confined to the areas where they enjoy massive support. and its the people and the economy of the region that will suffer the most. They should focus their energy on the people who have the constitutional authority to make a referendum happen. Anything else is flexing muscle with no end result. 5 Likes 1 Share |

meccuno: Yes, we all need solutions. But there are wise actions and foolish actions which yield different types of solutions. This lockdown action is a foolish one that won't yield anything positive apart from playing to the gallery. 2 Likes |

How I wish you guys will stay like this for seven days in a week. The police and security personnel will rest at least for a day. Here in abuja nobody even care, nothing change. All the federal ministries are full, working is going smoothly. Nothing change. 2 Likes |

amc:Nobody was forced to stay at home. I have not gotten any report on people that were attacked for not obeying the sit at home order. It actually helps the cause by making government know that the movement is popular. And can be harnessed to cause civil disobedience and et al. |

These guys don't get it.yes they have massive support and all,but they should used it to push for a referendum, which I think an only be done in Abuja were the seat of power resides in Nigeria and not flexing muscle here in the east.. You can drink poison here in the east and expect person to die in Abuja. It's the east that will still suffer quote author=amc post=104595859] No doubt the cause has massive support. amc:Yea. Fear of the unknown played a huge part too. But the majority of people (common folks) in the SE support the sit at home order. But I doubt if the momentum can be sustained. Monday is an important day to most businesses in the SE. 1 Like |

This what is known as self harm. Self-harm can sometimes lead to suicide. My people perished for lack of knowledge. Very sad and pathetic. My Igbo people cannot care less about Biafra, especially in this covid economy where hunger is in the land. If people are complying it is due to fear of terrorist IPOB. People in North once supported Boko Haram until they realised they were mindless terrorist who killed hundreds of thousands of muslims in the north. The same thing is playing out now with IPOB, Igbo people are now starting to feel terrorised by IPOB, just like Boko Haram did to Notherners. IPOB would kill millions in the south if people do not wake up. These people are mindless terrorists hired by racist globalists, to depopulate southern Nigeria; they are not interested in any Biafra . Just like many captured Boko Haram commanders were not even muslim, we would eventually learn that many IPOB, ESN or Unknown Gunmen are not even Igbo. |
