I am not an European or related the groups you mentioned and as such have no moral justification to speak on such sensitive issue when I know very little about their pain beside what the media feeds us.
I no longer speak on basis set by opposing media because of what I learnt from Afghanistan. Wasn't CNN telling us Taliban was a terrorist group before I found out that they are actually the legitimate government of Afghanistan.

If you are claiming of knowing a little about international politics, how then did you arrive at Taliban are the legitimate government in Afghanistan? Which countries recognized Taliban as legitimate government?

You are asking about Adaka Boro right?
This boils down to the issue I am talking about.
Britain used the willing tools they can get at that time irrespective of ethnicity (I won't argue who is who then) to frustrate and tackle Adaka Boro in order to keep their creation intact.
Hear this from me and on behalf of Ndigbo outside Nairaland that I have come across "Adaka Boro was fighting a just cause because he was fighting for the self determination of his only Ijaw people with no inclusion of any body's territory" the criticism of such decision is left for the Ijaw people to decide not any slave in Nigeria at that time or the British white supremacists.
If you notice, I didn't castigate any ethnic group in my original write up because unlike others I have managed to see the truth. We are all inmates in this British slave farm just that we are being used to hold each other for more exploitation

@ bolded

Who was the Eastern Region leader during Boro's arrest?

Who was the head of state during that time?

We have to go back to history and remind ourselves some Genesis.

You remember Nnamdi Azikwe right? What role did he play in adding or removing secession clause in the Nigeria constitution?

You must have heard and read about Adaka Boro right?

Why was he arrested,

What offence did he commit?

Who was the Eastern Region leader during Boro's arrest?

Who was the head of state during that time?

The OP is talking about amalgamation.

At what point in our history did we come together and agree to form nigeria? Give us the date.

We were amalgamated fraudulently, with guns.

Don't you think we should undo this fraudulent act?

How do you encourage people to divorce abusive partners in marriage but want Nigeria to remain indivisible?

Adaka Boro was hunted by the Nigerian government under Aguiyi Ironsi to protect British interest in their slave farm.
It happened during the military hijack of the revolution which would have ended British control over their estate called Nigeria.
A coup widely termed as the only true revolution before Gaddafi and Thomas Sankara.
When I said British willing tools I did not limit it to a particular ethnicity. They are everywhere including all the present Eastern Governors and Politicians. All of them, no exceptions

I am beginning to question your knowledge in things like this.
Check what NATO is.
While at it Google what Common wealth of Nations that Nigeria is part of really mean.
Then you will understand why I use Britain instead of any ethnic group in the slave pit. Nigeria was never free and will never be until the various groups free themselves from the British white supremacist experiment

Was it only Nigeria that was amalgamated by the colonialists?

How many of such amalgamations have broken up?

If you ask the Nigeria agitators what they are agitating about, their excuses have only been 2 things

Buhari and cows.

You want a new country, which is not something bad, are there any preparation for the so called new country? Extending friendship to neighbouring countries? Are the leader of the new country going to be teleported from Jupiter or Same Nigerians from those region?

Do the secessionists even know what it takes to have a new country? What's the current value of Nigeria Naira in the world considering the most populous nation in Africa? How many countries is Nigeria visa visa free to?

Getting a new country is how would you sustain your economy when thee next 5-10 years would be embargo from trades, importing and exporting..

Abegii, secessionists in Nigeria are jokers

Preparations for a new nation is not part of the discussion and you shouldn't be bothered because you wouldn't be involved in the stressful job of nation building.

The question is this, don't they have a right to leave a union they joined against their freewill?

The igbos were forced with guns, to join nigeria. Don't they (igbos) have a right to leave?

Answer this question without deviating.

First of all, there is nothing like Secessionists in removing yourself from what you are forcefully put into. It is called Liberation
As for your question whether Nigeria is the only contraption amalgamated by the colonialists and how many have broken up. Pay attention, actually 90% of the amalgamated countries still standing today is made up of Black people. Those amalgamated that have non-blacks have since broken up without the knowledge of the colonialists. Countries like Trans Jordan, Malaysia, Trucial states (UAE and Qatar), India (India and Pakistan), UAR (Egypt and Syria) etc.
This is one of the prove by the supremacists that Black people are lesser humans who can't make decisions for themselves. Something Ndigbo and other reasonable groups in Africa are trying to address

@ emboldened, is there any secession in Nigeria constitution to start with, not to talk of referendum for secession. The Igbos and the other secessionists have not been taking the right steps..How to insert secession in the constitution in other to allow referendum should be the first step

Look for the real meaning of Common Wealth of Nations.
Tips, it is the continuation of the British Empire. A more suitable term

You need to agree to a union to be part of the constitution.

Ndigbo being in Nigeria is illegal

Are we talking about Nigeria or What you watched on CNN about Taliban being the legitimate government in Afghanistan hence I asked if NATO countries are also supporting the Taliban as the legitimate government in Afghanistan

CNN can't report such. You need to research to know that.
Anyways, enough of Afghanistan issue and tell me why Ndigbo or any other group needs to be forced to remain in Nigeria against their will to satisfy the interest of British white supremacists
