Same three ways make up a man he created in his image

Thessalonians 5:23 that we were all created with three parts—a spirit, a soul, and a body:

“And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This word strongly indicates that man is of three parts: spirit, soul, and body. The spirit as our inmost part is the inner organ, possessing God-consciousness, that we may contact God (John 4:24; Rom. 1:9).”

The soul
Our soul is our very self (cf. Matt. 16:26; Luke 9:25), a medium between our spirit and our body, possessing self-consciousness, that we may have our personality.”

Our body,
The body exists in and contacts the tangible things of the material world using our five physical senses. The body is the visible, external part of our being, and it contains the soul. Our soul is the vessel containing our spirit.

Our spirit,
God as the Spirit dwells; in the soul, our self dwells; and in the body, the physical senses dwell. God sanctifies us, first, by taking possession of our spirit through regeneration (John 3:5-6); second, by spreading Himself as the life-giving Spirit from our spirit into our soul to saturate and transform our soul (Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 3:18); and last, by enlivening our mortal body through our soul (Rom. 8:11, 13) and transfiguring our body by His life power (Phil. 3:21).”

What am trying to let you know is that God likes to be known as
Father
Son and
Holy spirit

This three names are only different in title name but they are the same person bearing the name

So man is made up of God's breath(spirit or Nephesh) + dust of the earth = living soul.

So the "US" referred to in Genesis is simply God and the earth.
This is also the elements used in all the creation myths round the world. I wonder why the Christian see it different.

Genesis did not clearly state everything about creation

You have to factor other chapters of the Bible to understand clearly

Thessalonians 5:23 ►

Here we see man is made up of three
Qualities
Body
Soul
Spirit

Jesus said you must be born of water and spirit

Before you make heaven
Jesus said water is Baptism while the spirit is what is in man which the holy spirit will born anew

Paul said we should renew our soul when we become born again

So read all chapters not only Genesis

Here you can see John saw each soul of those who died tragically in Christ

So it not an added character or something that came together like voltron.

Man is the soul. When God breathed into the nostril, man became a soul. A soul can die simply means a man can die...when a soul dies, the body returns to earth and the spirit returns to God. Them the soul ceases to exist....or it becomes a dead body fir only for burial..soul is not an entity in man, it is what man becomes when he comes to life.

Man became a living soul means he started to think on his own at the moment God gave man the human spirit the soul was inside the spirit of the man so as the spirit hit the body of the man

The soul causes the man to gain thinking ability

It does not mean that the complete man is just a soul wrong it means the soul which is inside the human spirit activated his brain cells and he begins to think and function

The soul and the spirit are connected, but separable (Hebrews 4:12). The soul is the essence of humanity’s being;

discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

The soul, it is the thinking aspect of who we are. The spirit is the immaterial part of humanity that connects with God.


Genesis 35:18 (ESV)
18 And as her soul was departing (for she was dying), she called his name Ben-oni; but his father called him Benjamin.

Simply stated, the human soul is the part of a person that is not physical. It is the part of every human being that lasts eternally after the body experiences death. Genesis 35:18

So if I understand you correctly, the soul is in the spirit and the spirit is from God. So when a man experience death, the spirit (and soul) returns to God.. and the body returns to the earth..??

I understand that people can have more than a moniker. Nobody's business. But how can someone be chatting with himself with those monikers? I know of 'schizophrenia' but what nonsense is this?
Is it that you're lonely or jobless? or some kind of pathetic effort at validating your comments? And you're not so smart to keep your track off the comments from those monikers
