White elephant project. A refinery in tiny Lagos is a ridiculously stupid idea. Considering there are no standards in place in this country. 1 Like |

For a man of his calibre, this is highly embarrassing. I'm going to go ahead and doubt the veracity of this news. That man built the largest crude distillation equipments and had them transported by ship! That would be way too much time and money down the drain! |

The man was never as rich and wealthy as he is projected to be. He had always had his way to National Cake. Enriched himself by borrowing from his country. All assets owned by him is in one way or the other connected to our National Treasure. He not only take loans with no plan of repaying them, he goes a step further and lobbies for market monopoly as his only business survival strategy. When he gets the monopoly, he hikes the price of whatever commodity he sells beyond the reach of the common man so as to settle his cabals in the corridor of power. The vicious circle of their fraud will one day come to light. 3 Likes |

Is Dangote no more a business genius? He should deploy some of that big brain matter to rescue his most ambitious undertaking till date, no? Abi how can he mishandle his own project as badly as the abokis have mismanaged Nigeria for more than sixty years? 1 Like |

I'm tired of this Dangote Refinery. The propaganda around it is just too much. In 2015 they claimed it'll be completed in 2018. Since then it's been postponement galore!. Someone is playing us |

. In short, Dangote wants the key to Central bank fault so he can service the debt and complete the construction of his refinery........ Buhari will surely grant him that wish just as he commanded the CBN president in 2017 to grant Dangote unequal access to forex. . |

There is a mistake in the headline, not that he can forfeit it to Nigerians, ,.. Easy put as 'dangote might forfelt the refinery to the cabals'.. .which I guess might not happen.. this is just publish to know that he need more money to finalise his project which he will surely get from the national cake .. National cake dey sweet to chop for this fraudster... |

Sahara reporters don come with nonsense again. We all know the project is funded by loans so the debt is nothing new, unexpected or unanticipated. The refinery will pay for itself eventually. |

dre11: SHEER ILLITERACY! First, there’s a difference between personal debt and corporate debt… Furthermore, a ledger has TWO columns - assets and liabilities. The $8.4 billion debt is OFFSET by the value of the refinery. The ILLITERATE who wrote this “article” thinks this like the money the writer would borrow from his in-laws to buy boli… On the corporation’s balance sheet, the value of the refinery is ADDED to its assets, and that’s likely to be MORE than any debt. > 2 Likes |

I’m finding it very difficult to believe this story. The fact that it was published by Sahara reporters even made it more unbelievable. Hopefully, Dangote will issue a statement later to debunk what Sahara reporters is speculating. 2 Likes |
