Good morning All,
It seems getting appointment for first timer tourist visa is completely impossible at the moment for French embassy.
Some one told me that Spanish embassy is open for tourist and visiting visa right now. Please I would like to know if anyone here know about it or have seen someone that applied recently for short stay visa.
Thank you

Sorry for the late reply. Didn't know you dropped comment here.

Documents submitted:

France visa application form
Employment letter
Promotion letter
Pay slips (3) months
Leave letter
My marriage certificate
My child's birth certificate
AXA mansard insurance
Flights itinerary
Hotel reservation in Paris
Cover letter stating the activities I would be doing in paris

2) Yes I have been to the UK (2×) and visa still valid till 2022. And a newly issued USA visa.
I have been to UAE several times, Kenya (2×) , and Ghana.

For my flight itinerary, I submitted I would be visiting the UK from Paris. So it was like this; LOS (NG) to CDG (FRA) to LHR ( LON) to LOS(NG)

Please if you have any questions don't hesitate to drop it here.

Big congratulations on your visa.

Pls how much did AXA mansard charged you for your health insurance.? I also want to confirm if you use the HMO of your company for the health insurance. I use AXA mansard in my place of work for my HMO.

2nd question, how much was the hotel you book, for how many days and is there quarantine when one want to book. I intend going from UK to France and choose to stay on two days, will this be ok.

Then how many months visa did you get? I learnt that it is usually 3months. And was it single or multiple entries?

Then for the flight , did you pay to book?

Kindly respond.

Thank you for your response and once again congratulations

Good evening Maxwell, please one more question about the documents you submitted.
For birth certificate, I have NPA Attestation of birth and Court Age declaration, but all are photocopy/scanned copy.
I would like to know if you submitted the photocopy of the above mentioned documents or the original copy.
Am asking because I don't have the original of this document but I have them in mail.

Hello everyone, please I need help.

We applied for transit visa for Netherlands and for now, only my husband passport is back but there is a mistake.
His transit visa on his passport is valid from 1st sept to 8th sept, but we transit on the 10th September.
I have checked my application form and 10th September was what I indicated as date of transit and we submitted our flight tickets too.

I have sent a mail to VFS, they replied that they are not in charge and gave me a mail to send my request to which I have done.
However, I have previously sent a mail to this particular email they sent to me and they never responded, so I am afraid they may not respond to this also.

It's been over 24hrs I have sent the email. Please who has any idea what I can do next.

Congratulations, what's up with student visa?, If a business visa can be granted in 5 working days, two weeks is not too short for a student visa. I am just anxious. Submitted 23rd of July.

First time France Visa application usually takes 2 weeks be it any categories of visa, after then your next application takes lesser time it could be 7 days or less because they have your data already with them , that it what I discovered. If you are applying for the first time, then wait for your passport to be ready in 2 weeks

UK you pick your duration(6mnths, 2yrs etc) from a list and pay the stipulated visa fees for that category

US normally gives 2yrs

My first visa to France was 6 months.
