When you see $200K account, check the max DD, if it says 5% for example, that's $10K account you have right there and not the $200K mentioned. Trust me, once you lose that $10K DD, they close the account even though you still have $190K remaining in the account, it's useless/not useful.

Same here, 5% of $1000 is $50, lose it and your account is closed regardless that you have $950 remaining....that's the clue. Until we start to reason this way, these prop firms will keep springing up to entice us with figures and thus milking people.

Bouy trade is not connected to FTMO. They use globalprime as their broker, FTMO use their own server.
Props firms that give live account to traders can't subject you to 90days test. They would most likely require a history of more than 12months.

B might be stressful because you have to then send like an invitation mail which on NL is not always a direct process.

I believe if possible it doesn't need to be locked. Even in December 1st anyone can join, so long fxblue can show the performance on the account through out the year.

I have been looking through this since yesterday and I think I will completely ignore these guys: BuoyTrade. The following are my rationale for my conclusion.

1. They allow 5% DD (see attached Buoytrade objectives), that's not the problem, but on an extremely low capital ($1000), that's the problem. What that means is that you are not allowed to lose more than $50. This is how I choose prop firm: What this $50 max DD means is - Buoytrade provides you with a $50 trading account and not the vague $1000 stated (don't be deceived).

2. How can I be that stu*pid to pay $68 ONLY to get a $50 trading account with the enticement that I will scale it up....that's dumb. Why don't I just add more money and join a broker and grow my account with them.

3. They make it worse by saying you can scale up only after you make 5% profit without a single withdrawal: that's stup*id again, so that means I pay $68 ONLY to get a $50 trading account and then I have to double it, make $50 profit - that's 100% profit. After that, you don't withdraw it cos it's not your profit yet so you can scale it up.

So they expect their traders to make 100% profit and not withdraw their profits before scale OR I have to make 200% or triple the $50capital if I like to withdraw then scale up.

The question is, how many people double or triple live account? Next question is: how long does it take people to double an account without blowing it next.

So these guys expect that I should trade 1year with them before I start to make money and withdraw. I would rather stick to
