Hello guys,

I love to have quality dialogue with Igbos other stakeholders and find out if you guys are in support of Kanu, Ipob, ESN and current developments in the eastern part of Nigeria.

Let me preface this discussion by saying I don't give a shit about tribalism.
I believe Nigeria as a country is not feasible as it is being run presently and we are too divided and selfish to run a federal system and be one Nigeria.
I believe our past leaders have done a shoddy job and in particular, the last two presidents, GEJ and PMB are totally clueless and are not qualified to be in the position.

My reasons for not supporting MNK was the same reason why I did not support the civil war.

1. Biafra, as is being championed by MNK is simply not feasible. The federal government will not let it happen and a lot of people are going to die for nothing. It had been tried in the past and millions have died while the leaders walk aways to enjoy their lives.

2. I have a deep seated distrust for freedom fighters who live outside of the country, send others to the war front to sacrifice themselves while they and their families live in comfort and security.
I also despise leaders who run away before or after the war and and are not willing to put their lives on the line for what they believe in while they encourage millions to their death. I have little respect for such leaders. Your life should not be more important.

If you want to know what a true freedom fighter is, check the likes of Ghani Fawehimi of blessed memory.
He was always fearless when he went against the military and would always dare the military to shoot him. Never one to be afraid of death or prison. I remember a time Gani was pulling the muzzle of the gun to his chest and was shouting, " shoot me". Now, that is some badass freedom fighter!

3. MNK and his ilks are vulgar and full of hate. If you have to resort to insults, hate, lies and propaganda to pass your message across, then you have lost rational minds like myself.

4. What plans does MNK has to get Biafra actualized? Don't tell me sure at home every Monday, that is totally ridiculous.! It achieves nothing and does nothing to actualize Biafra.
Foreign government interventions ?, they give no shit about what goes on in Nigeria, we are going to solve our problems ourselves.

5. MNK and his ilks have lost credibility with ESN running roughshod and insecurities plaguing the east - this is totally crazy, we are now killing ourselves and give military the excuse to come in and further kill innocent people and are gradually turning our own states to the likes of Maiduguri. I see a lot of people applauding this lawlessness. It must stop! and it will never give Biafra.

That being said, I believe to break out of Nigeria will be a long term project and will involve everyone. It will be non-violent and start at the grassroots.
I believe Biafra would be more effective if it starts out and as a party from the grassroots, produce candidates who would run for various offices in the state and federal house of assemblies, Senates and and also governors.
It is easier to actualize Biafra and force a referendum when you have a lot of powerful people in key positions negotiating for Biafra.
To get Biafra, it will also be needful to negotiate with our neighbours especially the west, yorubaland.

They are very important and play a key role in one Nigeria.

Have you asked yourselves why and how PMB became the president?, because he was willing to negotiate and change his approach, got the support from the west otherwise, he would never have smelt the presidency.
Negotiation, by any stretch of the imaginations, does not mean you are weak!, it means we are willing to seat down and have a talk and show how we are better of breaking away instead of the status quo.
You don't get anything done be denigrating, threatening and insulting anyone who does not agree with your views. You don't get Biafra by forcing people to stay at home and threatening those who disagree.
If you are not self employed and have to get to your jobs to feed their families. Will MNK compensate you if you get fired for not showing up?

Let me know what you guys think and let's discuss and see if there is a better solution to this unworkable entity that is Nigeria. It's ok to disagree with me but I will not respond to insults, tribalism and infantile rants.

Over to you!

Well said.

You captured my exact line of thinking.

I have said it again and again, if by some miracle biafra gets that independence, I will pack my things and move to ibadan.

Unless they can show me a short term plan and a long term plan, I’m talking 50-100 year plan for moulding a country if they happen to get that independence.

Kanu is a coward. He spits bile from the comfort of his british parlor but feigns sickness now that he is looking his demons in the eye.

And quite unfortunately, if you survey the east, majority of his followers and agitators are uneducated, poor and they cannot tell you what system of government is being run currently. All they know and do is shout biafra.

I support a full military occupation of the east in the event that kanu dies in detention and a riot is threatening to break out.

You can’t strategize and win ordinary presidency, it is secession you think will work? No!

@Skyview01, why waste time, energy and space to write a long epistle when you can make your point in one quick and short paragraph!

All I heard you say is:

"Nigeria is an irreparable sinking ship, but getting out (or achieving Biafra) is hard, so let everyone remain stuck, selfish and sink with the ship in cowardice.

I am sure you did not read the write. Okay, your solution is to sit at home every Mondays and not have a governorship election in Anambra.
How long do you hope to continue with this approach and what results are you hoping to achieve in MNK's approach.

Just curious and willing to listen to dissenting views and different positions.

Biafra can never be achieved by politics because the constitution says Nigeria is an indivisible entity.

Biafra can only be achieved through war

Biafrans can win the next war if they invest in military techs that can destroy the war machines of the Nigerian state.

Did Kanu invest in military techs.? No

Will the next leader of IPOB invest in military techs.? Yes.

@mrVitalis, I believe the Fulanis have expansionist agendas and if you observe, they expanding into every part of the country and not only the igboland.
I believe the solutions will be as follows:

Work closely with the elected senators, house of assembly members both local and national. Honestly, we should stop treating these individuals like gods because we elected them into the positions in the first place. Let's stop bowing to anybody with money.
Hold their legs to the fire, protest in front of their houses. Meet their family members and complain, make it hard for them not to do their jobs.
The same goes for our governors and local government chairman. Hold them accountable, that is the way democracy works.
Hell!,The governor collects billions in security votes, ask him how he is spending the money.
They can pass an ant-grazing bill and have more clouds that the individuals on the street. We have more control over these politicians than we do on Buhari who is far away in Aso Rock and far disconnected from the problems being faced in communities.
We should stop degrading ourselves and bowing to these leaders, they squander our collective goodwill and resources and we let them do it with minimal or no accountability.

As individuals, arm yourself, get a licence for a gun if possible, get a sword, matchette, make wapon-grade bow and arrows and fight for your families should there be a Fulani invasion.

You asked for a solution and I gave the most feasible option and, here you are asking more questions that I suspect you have no interest in my answers.
Ok, lets do it your way, sit at home every Mondays and wait for Simon Ekpa's directions or for ESN to burn down more police stations and free more criminals into the society.
Maybe, Ekpa's next directive will be for everyone not to go to work for two weeks.
How does this affect or stop the murderous Fulani's expansionist agenda that you talked about.
Ekpa does not want a guber election to hold in Anambra? See, Buhari is looking for ways to declare a state of emergency and ipob will give it to him on a platter of gold.

He will simply declare a state of emergency and send a fulani man to be the administrator, put couple of armored tanks on all the streets if there is no election and people on ground will suffer greatly while the likes of Ekpa is safely ensconced in their homes in Finland while spending Igbos donations and goodwill

I feel there is some foreign funding for his activities.

I can understand UK supporting Nigeria secretly if the Igbos once more stand against the British interests but not the US & EU.

With the right techs, Biafrans can blockade Nigeria. If you are smart, you will decode how Biafrans can blockade Nigeria.

I've asked my Igbo friends and business associates what they feel about Biafra (Even my client who is very rich and witnessed the war) and these are the points i got from them.

(1) Why is it the people that never witnessed the war that carry it on their heads so much?? The ones that experienced it never want a repeat of it.

(2) Are they expected to pack up their successful lives, businesses and move back to Biafra?? Many of them hire private security and Police escorts already when travelling home during December holiday celebrations.

(3) The pawns used in the agitation are mostly poorly educated, disgruntled youths and that is a recipe for disaster.

(4) Where is the support of Igbo industry heads, intellectuals, traditional leaders and political class in this agitation??

(5) Nnamdi Kanu is highly dictatorial, power drunk and a hate monger. His methods are vile, divisive and stir up hate, instead of encourage support.

(6) He hates everyone with an opposing view. He would rather threaten than win them over with his points or a superior argument. Bad trait for an aspiring leader.
