I'm not disputing your tribe or culture, and Igbo culture has no rival too, if you want to say so.

And your post, I didn't get any information from it, so I don't want to blabber.

Do you think Igbo is rivaling with Yoruba? I laugh, my dear. I don't think they are.

And secondly, the able Ooni of Ife had given you truths and facts years ago, on Igbo importance to the Yoruba history, I guess you don't want to believe that, rather you believe in Oludumare coming from the sky with chains and fowl. grin. Or one human called Odua giving birth to all of humanity.

It's a beautiful folktale, don't get me wrong. But no one is rivalling your tribe.

"When you're great, you don't need to shout it, show it with your works ..." that's what Igbos are doing.
lol
he was talking about the "Igbo" (bush people)
Yoruba and Igbo are not mates

lol @sharia
you such a joke
Yoruba Christianity is more fervent than igbo's
how many big Igbo pastors dó you know?

yoruba didn't get Islam from the north like most of you think
we got it directly from Mali

The ones you argued with is matured Igbo men that don't have time to argue with people like you when they know the truth through logic and observation. But you don't joke with a woman, I'm ready for you.

If you're a kid, I'm your big sister, ready to argue with you till day break.

There's no argument you've made, all you say is giberish or nonsense. I find no clue or hint to make me keep quiet.
And I know myself, I'm a humble type if you make sense with what you say, I keep shut, but nothing dear, go get the truth and stop hearing little, petty gossips.

Lolz....are you serious, Igbo which bush people.

Isn't it a fact, there's one article I read, whether is it the Olugbo of Igbo something...that claims the truth they were Igbos who inhabited the land before you people came.

You guys where doing monarchy, the Igbos were into democracy long before you people started thinking of doing it. Now, who is more knowledgeable. grin grin. Stop wilding.

You did be an imbecilic slowpoke if you re of the school of thought that igbos will never rule this country or be treated equally with other tribes but in the same breath shouting that they re tarnishing the image of this country when they re caught with drugs abroad.

No dear. What makes a developed nation. It is not in the number of people spread across the region doing that and this.

If you've been to the U.S you'll know Nigeria is a glorified village, even Accra and Ghana with other African countries is far going ahead while Nigeria fight for which tribe to do this and that.

What the Igbos seek for is, good water, roads, stable electricity, a Yoruba man to have a degree and it would be useful for employment, insurance benefits, and the likes that makes a person to be happy that he or she is human.

Democratic rule or showing your democratic rights isn't the problem. The east, as I've heard had their foundation through democracy that was what they lived by, how would they deny others what they lived peacefully with over the centuries even before Jesus.

That's what they do want, they can't hold your hand not to elect, you're free, but the question is. "Think about your brothers who can't eat, who hardly take their children to school, who die for medical payment because they can't afford it, and many more....
Nigeria can be the Wakanda of Africa, most of the countries in the region look up to it for most things, but with the way things are going, Nigeria is slowly losing its respect to Africa and the world in general.
Nigeria is a glorified village? from a ghanian....thats insulting

"The east as ive heard?"

My sister stop making categorical statements on matters you know little about...you clearly dont know much about what you are here arguing about and is just behaving like most ibos in Nigeria having victims mentality and engaging in shameless revisionism
And you think its only the ibos that want that or deserve that equal rights and justice?
Every tribe in Nigeria is suffering but only the ibos (whose suffering is less compared to others) that feels the country should break up ....do you cut off your nose to spite your face or is cutting off the head the solution to a headache?
We have over 200 tribes in Nigeria and ibos are not special.....the rights they have is what other tribes have too

IBOS HAVE REFUSED TO ACCEPT THEY LOST A WAR 50 YEARS AGO....thats the crux of the matter

And who told you they care about the war. The war is simply the fact that all Southerners lost. What joy do you have in what your country offers now.

You go backward while other Africa countries move forward. What you have is population, that's what you're happy about.

And do you think other countries don't know why you don't want the people from the eastern lands of Nigeria to be free. We all know because they hold a fundamental part to your economy, and secondly you do not want your so-called largest population to be reduced, reducing your country to a non entity on the African political space.

You're the one victimising yourself, you claim you want equal rights, what are you doing to fight for what you claim to want?

Let me guess, gambling with election result. Y'all know Tinubu or Faahola or the likes aren't suitable candidates, but would go ahead to vote them because you see election results like a place to gamble your candidates into power grin

So, you're the one that has nothing to say something you have no inkling about. There's no basis.

Okay, let's say Nigeria won the war as you claim, what good do you have to show for it.

Doesn't the people you fought side by side with hold the helms of power today, if not for the Igbo, your Ruga settlement would have been established, Sharia law the same and no one in your land space would have anything to say about it.

All you'll do is shout and yearn but nothing would take par.
So, stop claiming to be knowledgeable when you know nothing.

grin

Finally you have shown your true colour.....ANOTHER ANTI TINUBU PAID AGENT.

We know your type and una full nairaland anti....

Wetin concern ibos with Tinubu? Has he ever governed any of your mud hut enclaves before?...throw as much dirt as you can but if its gonna be him it will be him that will be the next president.....ibo votes cannot stop it....it has been proven twice by Buhari that anyone can become president without ibo votes .....its insignificant

And who says we dont want ibos to go.....rather its ibos that dont want to go....if they really want to go they would have been gone already.....but what do we see, the same places they deride, claim they are hated in is where they flock every minute in night busses and flip flops clutching nylon bags....

The wind has blown and your nyash has been revealed anti....stop pretending you are just another sad ibo kid full of hate planted by your fathers to cover their shame of losing a war they couldnt have won anyway

@ThickSharon123, you may be half Igbo and half Ashanti, but verily I say unto you, you have that indefatigable Igbo woman spirit that doesn't bow to pressure. The same blood that flows/flowed in great Igbo women like Arunma Oteh, Dora Akinyuli, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and Chimamanda Adichie is what flows in you too.

Teach these overgrown scratch-faced afonja men babies and equally scold them appropriately.

Regarding the first part, on what basis informs your stand that the suffering of Igbos is less than that of other tribes Or is it your usual bigotry at play again? angry
As per the second, why should we even accept that we lost in 1970 Everyone in Nigeria knows that the Igbo rather die than accept defeat.. and since suicide is prohibited in Igbo culture, we'd NEVER accept defeat. This also means that we'd keep rumbling until the country crumbles, even if you kill or disable Kanụ, millions are ready to replace him.
The North have seen these, that's why they've joined in the clamor for Igboexit.. kos only by excision of the Igbo can Nigeria survive as a country, but you Yorubas despite your sophistication cant understand that! grin
Don't forget... To ensure Nigeria's survival, Igboland must be excised from Nigeria!

the mentality of average Nigerian is nauseating, you often hear them say if Igbos try to secede then we will secede but the louquas dude has come with the worst of it all. Every tribe in Nigeria is suffering but the Igbos who suffer less and have made up their mind to not suffer again or be in the suffering circle must be beat down and asked why do you want to stop suffering by the people who have made up their mind to suffer all their life. Imagine the mentality that Nigeria is built on. Thicksharon123 the thought process of an average Nigerian will get you seriously mad

Because ibos have a high standard of living

compared to other tribes due to the wealth circulating among ibos

Whether you accept that you lost or not does not remove the fact that you did.....

Why should it be Nigeria that should allow you to go ? In the history of seccession agitations IPOB is the only secession group begging to be allowed to go....its because majority ibos are not for Igbos BIAFRA if they were, biafra would have long been achieved

Look around the south east how many fulanis do you still see....most are gone already because they saw real hate from ibos......if other Nigerians hate ibos the way they want some people to believe they wont allow ibos flock to their cities in droves

Why not remove your greedy eyes from the alleged wealth circulating among Igbos... Or are you still having hangovers from the Obi cubana syndrome
If you feel Igbos are xenophobic, why not start preaching among your brothers the essence of excising the Igbo outta of Nigeria The Igbo tried to do so on their own yet you and your Sahelian kith invaded the fledging state and after 30 months of bloody battles vanquished it... cry
You can start now, Malaysia did it to Singapore in 1965, now both are healthy bubbling states... So start now, just like your co fighters from the Sahel have kiss

Igbos hate other tribes more than the Hausa-Fulani who kill and slaughter non-Hausa-Fulani Nigerians at the drop of a hat or Yorubas whose area boys and street urchins visit violence on Igbo traders. Thanks to social media, every ignoramus has an opinion on issues - including issues beyond their cognitive discernment.

supportnija:
Op, I think your opinion is not arguable, me personally I like igbo people, almost every race, tribe like Igbo, the only problem Igbo have are themselves, Igbo hate other tribes that is not theirs, Generally, I can confirm to you that people like them and they must try to work on themselves..
