I mean in this era of bvn, kyc, nimc still banks do open accounts with only a phone number and a passport for whom, fraudsters obviously. I can't believe that is actually possible until I heard it here. Banks are aiding and abetting this guy's whether indirectly or otherwise through their loopholes which shouldn't be so.

I will do this explanation just this one time. I have the Binatone air cooler. Actually it's mine. I didn't need it anymore so decided to pack it and sent it to one of the locations I use for selling my items. I have not asked them to unpack it for me and snap pictures; I realised my mistake, I should have snapped the pictures before sending it, but it is already too late. I checked online for pictures close enough to use, and found this one and used it. I am not justifying anything. But I'm waiting for the first person to tell me if I have broken any rules with regard to displaying a picture of same item, but using a stock photo.

My advise to people still remains this (amongst others though). Have two bank accounts. The first should be where your major funds are deposited. For this account, freeze it! Yes, freeze it! Freezing it would make it impossible for any form of online transaction or withdrawals. You can only withdraw over the counter and you know its impossible for scammers to infiltrate through this medium. Do not activate mobile or USSD banking for this account too.


The second account should be where you deposit measly funds. That is funds that you would need for your day-to-day runs. Funds that you won't feel the heat once you lose them. For this account, you can activate online, USSD banking and the rest.

You are currently creating the difference in litres now which you could have done in your post but never did. Isn't that the BAC-200? I can't tell what litre mine is but it is exactly the same as the one in the picture. If it is, how then is it different from the one you listed for sale?

The same seller Iisted was the person I bought from and my 'few months ago' was only less than 3 months ago. First you implied I probably didn't buy then implied it was 10 litres, which is needless if you ask me. I see no reason why you should be on the defensive over this. I would have replied with prices from Jiji or Binatone Nigeria if I were in your shoes. That would have easily added credibility to your price and possibly cemented the fact that I bought the 10-litre version.

That TV you are seeing there cost close to £400 pounds without shipping, there 55" 4k ultra TVs that cost 800k, TVs are like phones where you have flagships, mid range and entry level models.
I registered with Fouani store since 2010 and I buy things from them and I visit their site often, try read up review of the UN7000 models then you will realised that they're just entry TV and some models are still above 400k.
Some 4k ultra TVs are more expensive than some entry level Nanocell TVs like the LGTV55NANO79VND which is about 400k.
If you're a TV person like me you will know that buying the UN7000 models is like buying an Infinix hot 8 instead buying a Mi 10T Pro.

Try visit Alaba international or even Acunon thread on nairaland to find out prices of quality used TVs from UK or US, they're not cheap especially 2018/2019 to 2021 models, there are used LG and Samsung OLED TVs of 55" selling for 400k and above.


Back to your question, yes I can buy UHD 4k ultra for 543k because I have one in my house that cost me 600k, it's a flagship LG TV .

U are absolutely correct, I feel the same way too. In fact there are lot more victims than we know and this thread will help us know if there is a pattern to this which I have detected. Most ATM frauds happen on weekends or public holidays when banks are not open. Bcus this issue is not a one off occurrence, it happens all the time. Banks have allowed these fraudsters (if they are not bankers themselves) to prey on us and continue to prey on us with their seemingly helplessness.
The day I went to lodge my report, I met three other people including a granny whose money was wiped. These guys are heartless, they tell u that they are working on it and they never do.

Come to think of it, mine happened on Sallah day, it was public holiday obviously and I was helpless. It was that day that I found out that all UBA customer care lines don't work the way we think they do. I called and called still none of the numbers I got were going through. I was going bonkers. I sent a mail to their fraud unit or whatever and got an acknowledgement reply. Wasn't convinced, sent another one and got the exact same reply. It dawned on me that I was being replied by a robot. The whole experience was overwhelmingly underwhelming and infuriatingly ineffective.
