Let me say here that i am very much aware that the insecurity in the country is a major factor militating against Agriculture in Nigeria.
Few years ago i ventured in to cassava plantation. hmmmm Dont let me say what happened to my 10 hectares of land in one small town in Osun State.

Them never begin kidnap like this then o.. (2007)

But then i didnt even make my money back from what i invested in the farm. hmmmm But here now i see the huge benefit of Agriculture especially Cassava.

Do you know how many things cassava can do either locally or internationally.

You can make money and i mean a lot of it if you can successfully plant and harvest cassava in your location. The good thing is, it will alwasy grow no matter where you are in Nigeria.

Okay o...Let me answer what i guess you are itching to ask away...

Is cassava planting profitable..

To answer you straight, yes it is profitable. At least from the one i did, i guess i was not patient enough then to wait till the second year.

I already moved before profit came to the farm.

Let me tell you more about the questions here...

SO i will not have to write twice.... wink..

Very well and i am hoping the environment in Nigeria will be good enough to allow for farming especially on a larger scale

Don't worry about the trick. Things have really moved upwards from this. I only shared the story
