Maria made a comment about his Afghanistan experience, insinuating that it's a lie. That's why he jammed her back, I guess.

They're both playing each other

The relationship between Maria and Pere is one of a kind, like it's very very interesting to watch and very funny, i don't think Maria will ever see a guy like Pere again and Pere will ever see a woman like Maria again.
They both care for each other and at the same time talks back at each other. An outsider will think they are quarreling but if you know them, you will realised that is just the way they express their love.

Pere will call Maria a bitchhh and she will like fork you Pere!!!
Just few hours ago, they both of them needed something From the head of house room, Maria told Pere to get it, Pere Said he is tired, Maria said she too is tired and she won't get it. And they both sat down and were looking at each other. Lol

When they both finished eating few hours ago, Pere went to meet cross leaving the plates unwashed in the kitchen and Maria asked him, who is he leaving the plates for, Pere Said he is coming back and Maria answers him saying, you piece of shiiiit!!!!

That's Just the way they are and the housemates have noticed too so they stay away from their business.

You need the common sense. He didn't come to Lagos poor, he was comfortable financially when he came to Lagos and within a week, the situation up north where he was living made him lose his source of livelihood and he stayed back in Lagos.
