No one yellow for here.
Don't mind him jare. Eboes all look like Phyno, Ozo, and Bianca Ojukwu. Any Eboe that looks like Obi Cubana, Mr. Ibu, Ikpeazu, Ugwuanyi, Achebe and these ones in these pictures are just Kenyans masquerading as Eboe.

You can easily tell skin tone from black and white pictures. But why are you focused on complexion?

You are only showing pictures taken in the 1960s. I need pictures taken in the late 1800s and early 1900 (not later than 1910s)
I can even guarantee that those fair ladies there are not completely Yoruba. They are either mixed with Europeans or Igbos.

Tomorrow, you start to tell us that FFK's sons have typical Yoruba complexion.

Oyibos noted the fact that Igbos were lighter than Yorubas and other Africans.

It is difficult to determine the complexion of someone from those ancient black and white cameras, but one obvious fact is that they are all much fairer than their hair
Oga leave story. While it's not even an argument that Igbos have more lighstkinned people than Yorubas (infacf, lightskinned Yorubas often get called "omo jo Ibo" - "child that resembles Igbo"wink, these Igbos in these pictures are all darkskinned. One would know a lighskinned person even in a black and white picture.

Igbos are definitely not lighter than Zulu and Xhosa people, let alone Fulanis though.

Olodo, how can you tell their complexion from black and white photographs ?? cheesy
Oga, they're all darkskinned, lol. You can still tell a lightskinned person apart from a darkskinned person even in a black and white photograph. I've always noticed Igbos being ashamed of their darkskinned ancestors. Why is that? Even when you guys are predominantly darkskinned?

Igbos are by far, academically more intelligent that Fulanis and Zulus.

Igbos are also not darker than the tribes you mentioned. And some Igbos have hazel eyes. Fulanis and Zulus don't normally have hazel eyes, unless they are faking it with contact lenses.

All the people in those pics are lighter than Tinubu and Obasanjo. Some might even be as fair as Maduka, but the ancient black and white camera used in covering them is not showing it.
Anyway, the white people that saw these Igbos in real life commented that they were generally much lighter than the other Africans.
Real life observation is more reliable than pictures from archaic black and white cameras
Geez! Why exactly are you guys always ashamed of your dark skinned ancestors being dark skinned. It's very glaring that these people here are all dark skinned regardless of it being a black and white photograph. I've seen the same thing on Nigeria Nostalgia Project group on Facebook, where you guys always deny your dark skinned ancestors. Does being light skinned make you special? Even when you guys are predominantly a darkskinned people? Smh.

Mugu, so in your mind Igbos are predominantly darkskinned?
In every 3 dark skinned Igbo you'll find 7 light skinned ones unlike my Yoruba people that it's very rare to find a light skinned person without using those cheap roadside "bleaching Oshe".

Do you think being light-skinned makes you better?

You sound like you've a really twisted mentality around skin colour.
I think at this point, they think it makes them better. The last time, one slowpoke was mocking Ijaw people for having jet black skin, that the only light skinned Ijaws are the ones who have mixed with Igbos. But when I pointed out to him that Obi Cubana also has jet black skin, the clown then began beating about the bush. I wonder why a predominantly darkskinned people get ashamed of their darkskinned ancestors just because many of them are light skinned.

I think some black Nigerians have serious inferiority complex that manifest itself in form of resentment

Lol, bloody clown! I guess Bukky Wright, Sola Sobowale, Busola Dakolo, Sunkanmi Omobolanle, Yetunde Barnabas, and the many lighstkinned Yorubas also mixed with Europeans or Igbos. Werey. Maybe Obi Cubana also mixed with Sudanese, that must be why he's so dark skinned.

There are various shades of dark skin.
There is no harm in us being proud of our shades of dark skin.

Just don't ascribe any other group's shades of dark skin to Ndigbo.

Be proud of your charcoal black skin. We are proud of our own shades of black skin.

Tinubu is darker than Cubana and yet when Tinubu is in the midst of his fellow Yorubas, his complexion blends with those he is with. But when Cubana is in a group picture with his fellow Igbos, he stands out as darker than the rest.

Shut up! Everyone knows Fulanis are fairer than Igbos, even to the point of looking like North Africans. Zulus and Xhosas are also generally fairer than Igbos. But I'll overlook your braindead, chestbeating delusion that "Igbos are by far, academically more intelligent that (sic) Fulanis and Zulus" though. You Igbos are predominantly a darkskinned people, stop being ashamed of your people. Achebe, Zik, Ojukwu were all darkskinned, and they're the most popular Igbo figures ever.

Lol, werey wants to make Eboes a predominantly lightskinned people so bad. Can you please just post a picture of an Igbo gathering here? I mean, a picture where Igbos are concentrated somewhere? I want to see such "predominantly lighskinned people" lol.
