Not having quality back ups at DM and CB is significant. Also City have about 5-6 forwards of similar quality.

We have Cavani (injury prone), Martial, Greenwood, Sancho. Rashford is out for months and James has no brain.

Fernandinho = Matic, Rodri is better than any of Mcfred in recycling possession but in terms of protecting the back 4, I don't think he is better...Their style of play covers for Rodri's deficiencies...

At the back, they have Stones, Dias, Laporte and Ake with Fernandinho able to slot in there if need be whilst we have Varane, Maguire, Lindelof and Bailly with Matic/McTom capable of deoutizing if required...I'll say Bailly and Ake even themselves out, Varane is better than Stones whilst Maguire should be able to hold his own in a comparison with Dias...Ole has to get us playing well in a set up that mask any deficiency in our team. We have quite a good squad of players, it's on Ole to figure out how to get the best out of each and every player.

As for the bold, I think it's more of their time at PSG under Blanc
