I just completed my change of BVN Date of Birth now at Access Bank. Ecobank wanted to stress me my requesting for some documents to proof my claim. I left there and went to Access Bank, they only requested for my Age declaration of the new Age Date, they gave me BVN update/correction form to fill.
I filled immediately and submitted it back. They customer service said within 48 working hours the new date of birth will be effected/reflected.

Remain to change that of NIN date of birth

I immediately went Nimc office for NIN change of date of birth. Their procedure requires paying 15k to FG via Remitta and other process. The Guy told me to pay 50k for Express without those protocol.

rhapboss:
I am effecting a change on my name. I got to one of the branches of UBA. Made a complaint, they referred me to go to the branch I did the BVN thingy. undecided undecided undecided I had to message the bot (online service). Fortunately for me, someone from their head office in Lagos, had to send me the necessary bank documents for me to fill, sign, scan and send back (Isn't life beautiful? grin grin). Now I believe they would effect the change without me stressing myself much (having to wait for long queue and all that).

I am sharing this incase it is useful to someone on this thread. Goodluck!

I just completed my change bvn date of birth too at gtb. They asked me to fill bvn correction form and asked for my national id (my nin which contains my correct d.o.b). I was told it's gonna take 2 working days to be effected.

This is a good long epistle. Very educating and concise.
Pls, I applied when I was 35, now I'm 36. But I claimed that I'm 30(during application) that is, 1990. I got my FSLC in 1996. My question here is this:
1. If I decide to use 1990 as my year of birth, with my FSLC obtained in 1996, would there be an issue during documentation?
2. If I decide to use 1985, as my real date(year of birth), with FSLC actually obtained in 1996, that is, I'm 36 years, but 35 when I applied, would they say I have gone beyond the age limit?
Can I have your whatsapp number or send it to my email address Happyiyalekhue@gmail.com?

If the awardee is ready to start a life in the UK, it should take that opportunity. It could get a part-time job while dealing with school and then carry on from there. There are undoubtedly better career opportunities over there than over here with a Master's Degree.

In case no one has any genuine answer, I think a simple decent outfit may be fine.

If you noticed, the dress code wasn't stated in this invitation unlike in the last one for physical screening.

If the immigration officials wanted people to turn up in white shorts and tees, they'd probably have specified it in this invitation.

Just saying ....

UK masters scholarship and NIS job are miles apart. Scholarship in the UK is a once in a lifetime opportunity, that person must take it up ASAP. I believe that fellow must be loaded academically, so getting a PhD scholarship in the UK, US or Canada won't be a problem. A masters scholarship in the UK any day, anytime.

You will have to think carefully what to choose.

UK adjusted their immigration rules which now grant opportunity for international students who graduate from UK universities to stay and work for a period of 2 years. You can process your permanent residency (indefinite leave to remain) if you get hold of a job that pay minimum annual salary of 30,000 British Pounds.

I don't know what you are going there to study, but have it mind that your chances to remain legally in the UK depends on whether you get a job after graduation.

You can go ahead and do your documentation for the NIS job. After your documentation, try to socialize with people and find one or two persons that can cover for you when you are away in the UK. Your NIS salary will be entering and that cash can help you while you are schooling in UK. At the end you have the two in your hand. After your graduation, you will know what to do with your life in UK, whether to return or to stay.

May be you don't get it. Your absence will not affect NIS job. When I mean cover for you, I mean someone that will ensure your job is not terminated while you are away.

If I get you correctly, get a boss to cover up my absence. Right?

Green energy is the future. You are good to go. After your MSc in UK, you can proceed to USA if you want. In USA you can get full funding for PhD. There are more job opportunities in the USA than in UK. The pay in USA is far better than UK.
