They're playing senior teams of those top African nations exactly what transpired against mexico. The chan team is weak and that affects the ranking of our SE eagles when they fail

Yes the Chan team is weak, but do they get strong by playiing button teams, whether Africa or Europe

Take Mexico for instance, their league is better than ours, yet they had been playing games since, before playing our home based, and they were able to gel and play as a compact unite cos they had been playing together for long

But our home based were just brought together for the first time, now imagine, if they had been playing, even the strongest team, and being playing together for a longtime, then you must be sure, they can, and will have learnt a lot, to hold their own against the best team, and a some ways it will improve our league

Playing cos of FIFA ranking, just to avoid playing against strong teams, will not show us our weakness as a team, rather it will give us a very useless mentality, of we can beat this team, beat that team,

And when they eventually beat, or held us, it's another round of vexation and unending criticism again,

The NFF is always right to you

Bro better they organise the home based teams and play them against local sides or fellow west africa or central africa countries....what's the essence of playing america or European teams for friendlies when preparing for CHAN qualification and tourney where you get play fellow africa teams

The NFF is getting this wrong in all honesty

So the sides they had been playing their club games against, are an international sides?

Go and read my reply to large1

And besides you said not to quote you on anytin Nff and Pinnick, why quoting me on it now

Terem Moffi in action today at the principality while Onyeka should be taking his premier league bow can't wait grin cool

Definitely one of The Manchester teams or Chelsea is winning the league. Liverpool look slightly weaker. Leicester could surprise if one of the big 4 messes up.

I predict Newcastle, Burnley, Brighton, Watford, Norwich and maybe Southampton to be involved in a relegation scrap

Simy Nwankwo to Salernitana is a done deal. Announcement to be made soon (possibly tomorrow or next).

6million euros + a 10% future sell-on clause (for Crotone).

Simy returns to the Serie A to resume from where he left off last season. wink

Update: Announcement to happen early next week after medicals on Monday. Simy medical scheduled for Monday after which he signs and official announcement is made.

Extract below: Translated from Italian

Source: Gianluca DiMarzio

Salernitana, agreement reached for Simy: medical examinations on Monday

Simy prepares to become a new player from Salernitana .

In fact, an agreement was also reached between the player and the grenade club, which in recent days had defined the agreement with Crotone for the arrival of the Nigerian center forward.

On Monday, Simy should be in Salerno to undergo the usual medical examinations and start the new adventure in Campania. The signing is expected between Monday and Tuesday .

THE FIGURES OF THE DEAL

Between Salernitana and Crotone the agreement had already been reached yesterday: the attacker will join the group of Castori outright, for a figure of about 6 million euros, including any bonuses.

Salernitana will also guarantee Crotone 10% of any future resale. Now Simy has also found an agreement with the club and the deal is ready to be closed

Simy has been wearing the Crotone shirt from the 2016/2017 season. In the last Serie A he was one of the protagonists, scoring 20 goals and 3 assists in 38 games that were not enough to guarantee Crotone's salvation.

He played both AM and from the right too at U-17 level. He is improving. Seen his games and he still got that Vision and creative touch even when operating from the right. He does drift into the middle sometimes as well. Amoo is growing okay so don't worry too much. wink

Fabuloski:

Didn't this guy played as AM for under-17? I don't like the idea of converting him to RW sha. Whatever happened to helping him improve in that middle of the park position?

Kelechi Nwakali has been assigned the #8 shirt ahead of the Kickoff of the 21/22 La Liga Smartbank season today.

Nwakali and Huesca play at home today vs Eibar.

Hopefully Nwakali builds on his strong La Liga smartbank showings at Alcorcón from last season.

Also today, James Igbekeme and Real Zaragoza Kick off their La Liga Smartbank campaign at home vs UD Ibiza.

Reminder of some Nwakali stats at Alcorcón in 20/21 La Liga Smartbank:

1st graphic: K.Nwakali's new number at Huesca for the 21/22 season.

2nd graphic: Nwakali finished 2nd overall for tackles per game in the team - Alcorcón (1.6 tackles per game)

3rd graphic: Nwakali finished 5th Overall for Interceptions per game in the team - Alcorcón (1.4 interceptions per game)

Final graphic: Nwakali finished 1st overall for Passing accuracy in the team - Alcorcón (35.6 accurate passes per game - 81%).

Note: His passing stats breakdown show this -

Accurate passes in own half: 17.8 per game (90%)

Accurate passes in opposition half: 18.4 per game (69%).

Same as me I thought the blues lacked a cutting edge upfront but the Lukaku signing has changed all that.

Yes Liverpool is always dangerous but they haven't strengthened enough for me. Midfield is slightly weaker with the departure of Wijlnaldum. Attack still relying on the same trio of Mane, Salah, Firminho which the bigger teams have started to figure out. Personally I think they have peaked and diminishing returns is setting in albeit slowly.

If Harry Kane still somehow ends up at City before the transfer window closes then I would use my full chest to predict City retaining the EPL.

Is it that they trust their league talents so much or they gat this delusion that barely fails? I admire the mix up. Even a benchwarmer in Chelsea made this team. Confidence or Delusion?

Rohr own go sweet pass this one. But, but, if he can't utilize them, he and Arteta gat something in common. We hope not.

The bolded doesn't make any sense since it isn't the home based players who are playing opponents stronger than them in the name of improving their mentality that will represent us at major tournaments..

This move by Pinnick is nonsense...there's a reason why Egypt pulled out of the CHAN...

It's like your mentality and pinnick own na the same thing oh. Can you explain to me how playing against the strongest opponent improves one's team?

It's like saying that writing a difficult exam makes you smarter. Where is the place of training and development then?
