What do you mean by tuition deposit?

Normally, schools don't ask you to pay tuition until you arrive.

If you get an email asking you to pay a deposit as school fees, it is probably a scam. Be careful.
A lot of schools Request for Tuition deposit even before they give you a Letter Of Acceptance.

I have a valid Canadian visa and a US visitor visa, I have applied for student visa since May with no update to my application, please what is the chance of getting feedback from VO before start of class September 2021. should I cancel this application then travel to us to apply from there?

Hope you used your Canadian visitor's visa.

I observed that no May normal route applicant has received PPR. The very few that received approvals had complete NSE requirements or short of one.

I am a May 1st applicant (normal route), and eligibility has not started. Classes will start 25th August. Trusting God to receive PPR soonest.

A USA visitors visa Doe's not qualify you to apply and obtain visa to another country from the USA.

Its beginning to look like applying through the normal route is now an offence.

It will end in praise.

Hi everyone. I am new here. Thank you for this great platform. I am about to begin my Canadian study visa process and will need guidance from the house. I have HND in Banking and Finance, upper credit and will like to study in Canada. I am currently working for the past one year as a Customer service representative. What course is the best in terms of improving my visa chances. Thank you

He can only use that to enter Canada after travel restrictions on visit visa has been lifted.

But then he needs his study permit asap, cos you need a permit to study in Canada.

No oO, it's not like that, some schools do ask oO to retain your seat in the admission process as per first come first serve and to show commitment...

Like my school, Algonquin College, in the letter of acceptance, we were meant to pay half payment at first with a deadline.
You can't generalize, different schools with their policy(ies).
It can't be scam, any responsibility by the student would have already been stated in the Offer letter/Admission Letter/Letter of Acceptance.

Gan ga ni ko? Do you understand?

Our circumstances are different. I did use family but I didn't emphasize too much on it. I only stated "I come from a close knit family and all members reside in Nigeria".
I focussed more on establishments that were already in place and most importantly the career outlook of whatever program you're going for must be connected to Nigeria. In my SOP, one will actually think I will be better off returning to Nigeria than staying in Canada after my studies. Your future prospect in Nigeria must be promising.

I agree with Shupy on this.

Post study career prospects in Nigeria is a great way to proof home ties. It is really important.

Hello All, I submitted my application on July 18th and did Biometrics on July 19th. Submitted all documents for NSE and specifically requested for NSE in my SOP. Medical passed 27th. Ghost updates 1and 2 on 5th and 7th August. Profile says Eligibility is being reviewed and also background check is being processed. Documents.. We do not need additional documents. My question is whether it's possible they might still request for another mybankstatement even though I submitted one before during my application . People wet gimme fund for account balance want their money back.

Hello Toopee,

When IRCC receives a requested document, the column tends to display the review of the document. In some cases, the eligibility review will change back to processing.

They are working on your application, consider it as an active review.

Best of Luck

Understood, Thank you.

You have a an obvious study gap (10years) as a Graduate of Engineering. A Visa Officer would easily assume you have being away from anything Academics for too long, and also a way from your Engineering background.

In this case,a Graduate Certificate program from a college related to your BANKING JOB is your best shot.

Its not about the money. While you are weighing your options for what suites you, also put into serious consideration what a Visa Officer would conclude at about your study plan in Canada (Very important!!!!)

Await more contributions for others.
