Not totally true. The don't demand accommodation for their religion, they demand respect for their ways of life. It is a guaranteed right under the laws of most of these host nations.

Generally, every religion, race and culture tend to band together when in a foreign country to protect their ways of life.

The jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists aggregate in a community of their own people. We have the same scenario here in Nigeria too. The Chinese don't live among the people; the Indians have their own community and places of worship, the jews also do same.

The Western world try to get them to abandon these ways of life and adopt their ways. This is a form of racism. This behaviour is more common towards Muslim communities who are more often than not, tend to push back.

The jews suffered racism and religious discrimination in Europe for centuries leading to the greatest tragedy in human history: the holocaust. The holocaust started with Jew baiting; false accusations as christ killers; negative characterisation and narratives as devil worshippers who sacrifice the children of their host; negative tagging as sub humans etc. The jews did NOTHING!

The instruction in Exodus was given to Israelites "at a particular time", not everyone practising christianity as a religion, but core muslims everywhere in the world still believe in that qur'anic verse (that purging must be carried out till the world is dominated).

Moreover, the bible is not usually written that way. It will be better if you give the version from where that quotation was given, like this:
20 “Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed. NIV

Also, the meaning of that verse states that an "Israelite" who worships any other god (such as Baal etc) must be destroyed.
