CheerfulGiver: At times it could be shortage in break fluid but its necessary to check to be sure if the pads and linings are okay. Nothing beats preventive maintenance on any asset one has be it a building, car or anything preventive maintenance is very good and important. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Felicity0001: Bro... I so much like your disposition about issues. It seems we both have convergent views about critical issues so I'm always eager to read your comment. You implore Logic/reasoning at all times. Now here is my question... Is Net dashboard earnings the real/physical cash in your pocket?Yes or No. If answer No, so what the fuss and worry about Earnings. It sucks.... I taya o. Na money wey follow you enter house at end of the day be your earnings. Thats just reality. Well done my brother 8 Likes |

komodapson: I leave Felicity to answer your question. @ the bolded...So if u do 80% card trips or riders bonus then use the other 20% cash/transfer to buy fuel and go home with nothing in ur pocket u have not earned anything? Or if u do 30k worth of cash trips and see 30k in your pocket at the end of the day does it mean u earned 30k for that day? 1 Like 1 Share |

Ibukun93: Ha! My brother the only thing I'll advise you to do is fight to get your online money... No need reporting the trip to bolt otherwise you stand a chance of losing your account and also not meeting her again to collect your money in the nearest future. So save her contact on your phone you never can tell... The world is a small village. Did you pick her up from her house or drop her off in her house? If so then go back there and make some noise or send her a text of your intentions... Don't border about access... Just hand around her estate a request will take you in... Better still explain to the securities reminding them of the night a woman's phone fell and broke while trying to show them tye access code I believe they'll help you out so they don't tag you nuisance. Next time don't allow pity or sentiment to creep into your business, weather your rider is rushing a relative to hospital or they just lost somebody make sure you get paid. If you want to do charity with it fine but don't ever leave without being paid. Me I no sabi draw debt ooh so I cant make any promise 8 Likes |

Pearl1910: Yes yes yes!!! I agree to it already base on the calculations you guys put up there but mind you I said formerly when the lekki toll was still active Felicity0001:I did these calculations and found out I was being charged for toll and even parking fee... Though I cant lay hands on those for evidence now so let allow that slide. Like you said "thank God for the app upgrade" bolt has really improve i must admit and we must give them credit for that. Felicity0001: Pearl1910: From my quote up there I said money at hand and account so there are days I don't even have a single kobo paid to me in cash just trx and card alone which means money is in account so, yes! you made an earning. The only days I will count a lost is if I spend money releasing my car from a LASMA officer or police... I usually don't have issues with police self because I've a lot of them..., my last name alone command respect in Nigeria as a whole so once they see my DL they just let me go, again, I understand their language a lot unless the once dog bit for yash or maybe the day my 5min madness occur. Even days I spend money to fix my car I don't count it as lost but reinvestment (maintenance/running cost). If I'm traveling outsude state for personal stuffs I use my personal vehicle if poloce stops menu clear, asked if papers, then DL the moment they see both names are the same some will just return my papers while some will say "Ha, oga na una hand Nigeria money dey ooh" I go smile rogger them move. No day is actually a lost day because I'll always find an advantage... Likenthe last time I'd issues with LASMA/Taskforce I was privilege enough to know and meet and have some of their top oga... So next time I can help somebody or have a smooth talk 2 Likes 1 Share |

mrjaydee:I don't excuse rude people, rider or not. I gave it hot to a middle-aged gateman last night who didn't respect himself. One thing I try to do is understand why someone who hasn't met me previously is being rude to me. Like the case of the gateman, he may be frustrated with other aspects of life. I don't know that to be his reason for a fact, but why I know is that as humans, we judge character with precedence. If it has happened before, it most likely to happen again. Riders have had negative experiences with uber drivers to categorize all uber drivers as being same, or most uber drivers admittedly. Experiences ranging from, and not limited to: Dirty drivers Drivers with body odour Dirty cars Dirty interiors AC not working or not working optimally Noisy car emanating from bad suspension Rickety cars Unkempt drivers Drivers forcing conversation Drivers making phone calls while driving Drivers interjecting (putting mouth) into their private conversations Rude drivers Drivers that can't just find their way, and can't use map Drivers who have taken their stuff Entitled drivers. How will someone request a trip on a 1.9x surge and one stupid looking car is pulling up to pick them? How are they supposed to be nice, for example? Then when a combination of things I listed above keeps happening, it brings out the nasty in everyone. I once picked a girl who a guy just broke her heart minutes ago before I picked her, and she started giving me attitude. At first I let it slide cos she was crying and all. I knew the source of her frustration. But omo, at the point, I let it fly, na me break your heart? Rude riders are borne out of rude drivers with combination of above and rude drivers are borne out of a combination of above which may not be exactly their fault, and rude riders. This thing is a vicious cycle that isn't stopping soon unless standards change. If a driver is blocked on uber for being bad to riders, and he then also gets blocked by bolt for the same reason, indriver will be his last hope, especially if driving is his only source of income at the moment. Humility will naturally occur to that driver. He'll take shit_.... Dishonor before death from hunger. It varies. Walking people out of cars doesn't remove the source of their frustrations in the first place or their innate attitude to be stupid. It takes wisdom to deal with strangers, and maintain your job as a driver driving for an international company with standards and best practices. 10 Likes |

Crvrider: What are they saying... Try negotiate with them don't try to be in a hurry just relax your mind in fact leave them go find somewhere chop food then come back and talk with them... The last and only time I was stopped by a DSP at okota junction it's 10k I gave them after it was satisfied the tint permit was actually fake. I'd to remove it the next day without even informing my partner. Yes! Na me dey drive d car and sufferingnit as well. So have they satisfied your tint is fake? How was it done? If you too know it's fake then you've no other option but to beg them and negotiate a price. Mind you all old tint b4 the IGP place a ban on tint are still valid provided its authentic with medical report so no new issuance for new tint that are not factory fitted. Those cars that came factory fitted after the ban are given 14days ultimatum to get a tinted permit for the factory glass but that tint permit issued only covers the factory, meaning no doctor's report is needed so can't go ahead to put the lynon tint in the front glasses. Know these things so nobody will use you chop ignorantly. |

kneo: mrjaydee: Make una no vex. I ignored the initial red flag on phone. The only thing I could have done was to walk her out of the car, which is the main reason I narrated the story that how do you do that ? Not that she used an abusive words but at every stop she wasn’t using any form of courtesy, she was talking like I own you. Like Rider: stop here I want to ask this ladies walking for a salon on this road. Me: no word (but will stop ) Rider: let’s go it’s somewhere close ( no thank you) Me: no word Next to withdraw money. Rider: Stop at that bank I want to withdraw money cos you people like cash ( no pls I want to withdraw money or excuse me can I stop to do this and that.) We stop three times without any please or thank you. That’s why I said I wish I could tell her to go down, I no go again. We are built differently, make una teach me how to go wild. 10 Likes |
