Alhamdullilah, I was awarded the OSS MSc scholarship. But I won't be accepting it. I hope they consider someone else from my State.

I have already gotten Visa and Scholarship to a university in Canada.

To those selected congratulations, to those not selected, greater success awaits you in other endeavours... 2 years ago I was heartbroken that I wasn't selected for this... This year alone I was flooded with numerous offers from great institutions around the world... Send a DM for full details, it isn't a scholarship. All admitted grad students in my intended program are funded (tuition plus monthly stipend) by the school/program. The clause is that you must find a professor ready to accept you in his/her research group before being admitted. I mailed Professors in my research field and one accepted me hence the admission / accompanying funding.

Getting admission in Germany is as hard as France… but China and malaysia admission is easier just that u can’t work in the country

Congratulations to you and to all other people that got the scholarship this year. Also, to those that didn't get it this year, God is preparing something humongous for you guys. Better days ahead.
To defer your Scholarship, you will write letter to Executive Secretary and state reason(s) you want to defer your Scholarship. One of the reasons is inability to secure admission. Submit the letter at ES office, when your deferment is approved, you will get an email from them.
NB: Please, do your initial documentation with them ooo before you defer.
Also, you can only defer for a year.
Once again, congratulations.

My brother, it is true that on the portal under 'Applications' those things: deferral, ticket request etc are there. When i wanted to defer my scholarship last year, i submitted my deferral letter through the portal on 29/5/2020, up till now my request status on the portal still remain unresolved, i didn't get a reply from them till now.
It was when i submitted my deferral letter at the ES office that my scholarship deferment was approved.
My brother and others, whatever you want to apply for such as deferral, ticket request etc , i beg you, do not rely solely on applying through the portal, try to submit it at PTDF office. it is not necessarily that you submit it by yourself, you can send someone there to submit on your behalf.

You will receive an email from them for your deferral approval.
NB: When you want to submit the letter, make it 2 copies, the second copy will be an acknowledgment copy which will be stamped and return to you.
