Positivepoint:Really?? If the U.S is a Christian country, then Nigeria is a Muslim country then. You're a liar, NATO is not a religious body but a military alliance of nations, Infact NATO protected Muslims in the Balkans during the Bosnian wars. Very soon, you'll even claim that the U.N is a religious organization too. Secondly, you claim that ISIS was sponsored by the U.S, but the U.S provided air supports for the Kurdish forces while they were closing in on El-Baghdadi?? How do you reconcile the U.S efforts in the annihilation of ISIS?? Till date, the allegations made by Recep Erdogan, the President of Turkey that the US was providing support for ISIS has not been proven, he even said that he has pictures, videos and info to prove it all but the world is still waiting for the evidence he claimed exist. If your point of argument is that all the nations in power are guilty of one misactions or another, I agree with that. But give proofs to back your assertions not mere hearsay or allegations. 2 Likes |

Create a vaccine that will reduce their birth rate... It will take care of their multiplication. USA was at war with China and The Arabs indirectly.. Handling the Talibans will be an easy task..But they don't want to cross boundaries.. Watch them hit the Talibans with sanctions that will cause enemies with and their brothers.. Remember, Iran..They are now in serious dispute with UAE and Saudi Arabia. 1 Like |

Those guys will take over the north and when they do what happens to the south. If that happens, it would be better so each ethnic group can go their own separate ways and defend themselves. Each group can bring in whatever weapon they deem necessary in defense of their own territory and not be stifled by the current TERRORIST FULANI government of LIEGERIA. |

Lobbies western powers and think-tanks? Talking about the Middle Belt, how are the young males coping? Small retaliation they gave islamists in Jos, the Nigerian state has attacked them with weapons aiming to kill the young males. How are they fighting Fulani warlords in Benue? Taraba? Southern Kaduna? Who is fighting those Fulani warlords slaughtering Igbos in Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo? Who is fighting against same Islamic Fulani herdsmen in Delta, Ogun, Ekiti and Ondo? Keep writing English. Las las, you would be offered Islam or death, you make your choice. 1 Like |

Powersurge: I agreed with your last paragraph. Government interference is the major obstacle to the elimination of Islamic extremists and terrorists in the South. The core Fulanis and some Hausas are like Taliban. The Core North believes in the ideology of ISWAP . Fulanization of West Africa and Islamization of Africa is an ideology supported by the Fulanis. You cannot separate this ideology from terrorism. Fulanis will always attack in the midnight. In the middle belt and lately, Okeogun area of Oyo State, the communities know the operational base of these Fulanis and how they operate in daytime. Immediately the attacked community carried out counter offensive, the Fulani controlled Federal Government will claim they are killing innocent Fulanis. The Police will carry out arrest. The military can be sent to fish out the killers of the Fulanis or to protect the Fulani communities in the area. All these government interventions presently weaken the South. If the North falls to ISWAP, Boko Haram and bandits (they are the same with different names ), the South would resist them. The major obstacle is South West where we have some groups and areas with the same cultural and religious outlook like that of the North. Also, Yoruba language is widely spoken fluently by many non Yorubas. They may use these areas to camouflage and penetrate, at the end, they would be flushed out. The situation in Afghanistan is quite different from the situation in Nigeria. It is only similar to situation in Northern Nigeria. The ISWAP cannot attempt to takeover Southern Nigeria with strong Christian base. That is why I spent 13 months to protest and carry out enlightenment on the planned implementation of Sharia in Four States in South West by Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria before the idea was dropped . 3 Likes |

if terrorists from the north tries to invade the south, they'll be met with heavy resistance. Hehe, don't think southerners are weak oo else e go clear for your eye that time. Typical Nigerian braggadocio! Fulani warlords are killing people in Southern Nigeria across farms and highways, how many have you fought to standstill? If south can form alliances with the western nations and borrow technological equipments from them, then it should be a clean and easy victory. Like I really can't see myself sleeping at home when I know that there are weapons available and I could go out there and make a difference in our favor No be only form alliances na Math formula. Western countries are in bed with the Buhari's administration, know this and have peace. Did you not read that Britain trained SARS personnel? Prior to the 2015 election, Buhari met Biden, then VP to Obama. Same Biden is now the US president. That is who you chanted "south form alliances with western nations?" The boarders of Southern Nigeria will all be well protected and defended. I assure you Same borders which are manned by Fulanis or the Immigration service which is headed by a Fulani or the telecoms/data providers regulatory agency which is headed by a Fulani or neighbouring countries whose ambassadors are Fulanis? Y'all underestimating marauding Fulanis are jokers! 3 Likes |

I agree with you, that the trajectory of this country is one where the Bokoharam/ISIS gain enough momentum where they can over power the nigerian Army or start power Sharing. Anyone who is not already understanding/accepting the realism of this is not a deep thinker. Shekau has always been clear, Bokoharam's mission is to erase western education and bring ALL of nigeria under islamic Rule, This is their long term Goal and mission. The group has gone very far from being splinter cells of a terror group to a Juggernaut that now controls large swats of territory in many . northern states, in partnership with ISIS which already is a sort of a Quasi government in Libya, Iraq and somalia. In other words its not wrong to say that Bokoharam is Backed by governments - People with infinite sources of money from Oil and taxes imposed on people living in the territories they currently control. For you to understand the mindset of a typical bokoharam supporter, You have to understand that the Bokoharam fighters are fighting for is what right according to the Quran, they believe that by converting you to Islam they are helping you and your children unborn to save their souls to make it to the Kingdom of God. And they believe they are also doing this to Gain Favor in the Eyes of God. How can you stop a people with this type of resolve. Any true muslim knows and believes that what Bokoharam is fighting for is right by the words of Allah,(although, they may not like How Bokoharam is going about trying to Achieve thier Agenda). So how can Bokoharam fighter defeat the nigerian Military and overwhelm the north? Its happening before our eyes. * The nigerian Military already is currently rehabilitating BH fighters and putting them in the military, if you remember that this is an Ideology, then you can understand that a Bokoharam fighter can never change. * The Nigerian Military is Primarily based off the North of Nigeria. Armory, Training facilities, Planes, Jet fighters all domiciled in the north. * There are more Muslims as top commanders and as foot soldiers in all of the three nigerian Military and even police. That explains the Arabic written words on the nigerian Army's Emblem, if truly Nigeria was a secular country or one that respects the existence of the christian populace, those words in Arabic wouldnt be there) So all you need a Military Chief of staff that shares the same ideals as bokoharam and is balsy enough to make a move, and boom, Non muslim top members of the military would be arrested, others would flee the country, foot soldiers who are unwilling to comply would be killed or also arrested and there you have it, the nigerian military machine is in the hands of Bokoharam, then they would start taking cities as you see the taliban do, those who accept islam would be spared, ISIS did the same in iraq and syria in 2015 or so i guess. That being the case, no southern state, stands a fighting chance, People who accept islam might be offered large benefits and believe it or not, that would cause alot of communities to convert, the same way a lot communities were made to renounce their ethnicity during the Biafran war. If you think its impossible to have a radicalized muslim in a top military position, you should remember your current minister of communication who has professed his love for the ways of Bokoharam(Alqeada), If you can have that as an aid to the president, then anything is possible. |

The real warriors for ur info are the Southerners.. especially biafrans who fought the civil war or perhaps i will say a genocidal war singlehandedly while the north were given great support from other countries..if they can legalized guns..then all dz slow motion referandum or self determination as biafra or oduduwa won't be an issue anymore! tensazangetsu20: |

Gerrard59: These things you wrote here don't work that way. I can see you are an IBO man from few words I picked in your posting. Amina at the U.N. does not control any influence on the decision taken by the world powers. Blocking of borders and sending Buratai to Benin Republic have nothing to do with the issue under discussion. I wouldn't want to mention the Ambassador sent to Cameroon. They have no meaning under emergency situation. Accra to Lagos is shorter than Lagos to Abuja. Lagos to Abidjan (Ivory Coast ) is shorter than Lagos to Kano. Islamic terrorism can only thrive where they have legal ground, population and familiar terrain. Whatever happens here automatically affects nations from Benin Republic up to Liberia. Presently, it is the FG intervention which hide under Nigeria sovereignty to protect the Fulanis that is making you to think that way. Under emergency situations, the military, Intelligence Agencies, Police and other paramilitary would be divided along ethnic lines. I stop here. 1 Like |

They could also start using political undertones to set the stone for a soft landing, pushing words like Afterall christianity and Islam are the same or its the only way for the party to win elections because the muslims are the only ones willing to vote. And thesame type of people you see defending bad politicians here on nairaland because of tribe and political party will be here to spin it and flip it so it doesnt come off as bad as its suppose to sound...with hundreds of likes on their post to make you believe that a lot of people are in support of the ideology. Also, It may not be the all out aggressive way that you are thinking, it might be sort of systematic. They may look for a soft landing initially by saying something like after going through census, its clear that the muslim population of nigeria is now more than 60% and that they have declare that nigeria is now a muslim state just like malaysia, churches would now need special permissions to function. Then, slowly, slowly eat into every fabric of your daily life, until it becomes illegal to be anything but a "true practising Muslim", it was done in Iran in the 1940s. If you think its impossible to have a radicalized muslim in a top military position, you should remember your current minister of communication who has professed his love for the ways of Bokoharam(Alqeada), If you can have that as an aid to the president, then anything is possible. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Gerrard59: Shut up and go and sit down, monkey. The situation would be different then, since there'll be no govt. The only reason southerners are not launching attacks on Fulani terrorists is because we still have a govt and a military. Also, the govt are run by the north, and it's obvious they're gonna proscribe you a terrorists like they did to IPOB if you take judgment into your hand. If north falls, it means abuja would be under terrorist control. There'll be no military or govt. We can now deal with any intruder as we please |

At that point, anything can happen. No Fulani can survive or remain in the forest in the South because they would be the number one suspect. |

Coldie: History has it that Ebira people used to be more igboic than they are now. They were conquered. The TIVs and other Benue clans are responsible for the reason why Usman dan Fodio couldnt make it down south to igboland. Modern Warfare is won by weaponry and training not by guts, or numbers. Just saying the igbo people will stop a northern invasion is unrealistic, how they suppose to fight when as a people they are disarmed in Nigeria. As supposed to stop the invasion with sticks and stones. Read my previous post to understand my point. That Islamic future that the OP is describing will not just happen as a surprise it will slowly build up, and and rudiments to make that future easy is already in place in nigeria. I think it will happen. Nigeria will first of be declared an islamic country. |

The USA went fishing for Al Qaeda commanders that the Taliban govt. 20years ago refused to give up...that is why Afghanistan was invaded.. and we all know that no terrorist will be foolish enough to carry out an attack on the US. Majority of afghans support the Taliban.. Bokoharam will only end the day northerners become tired of bokoharam, otherwise no govt on earth can eradicate bh.. Let the Russians and other countries that shares borders with Afghanistan open up their borders to admit them and let count the percentage of the said Citizens that would remain. One can literarily feels the hopelessness and despair among the Afghans as you see them clinging to planes about to take off. |
