Yes, it worked for IHS and standard visa fee but not for the priority payment.

I think pounds card work for all of the above.

Disheartening.

Please speak with your university team. AR seems the only way because you cannot reapply.

Can you share the certificate?, removing your name of course.

Reason they give is that my certificate that i used 5 years to obtain is not genuine.

"You have submitted a 2008 Bachelor of Science degree certificate in your name
which was purportedly issued by the University of Ibadan. However examination
of the document by a forgery officer have led to the conclusion that this
document is not genuine. These checks have been documented in a document
examination report (DER) held by our office. I am satisfied that you have
submitted a false document in support of your application. Your application is
therefore refused under Paragraph 9.7.1 (a) of the Immigration Rules."

They examined scanned copy ooo and reached conclusion. no email for confrimation or verificationwas sent to school because I already checked with school this afternoon.

Please i need advise. Administrative review takes a long time from what I have been reading here. Please any advise is welcome

Do you have the original copy of the certificate issued by your university?

Your partner and children
Your partner and children (‘dependants’) may be able to apply to come to the UK or stay longer in the UK.

You must be one of the following:

a full-time student on a postgraduate level course (RQF level 7 or above) that lasts 9 months or longer
a new government-sponsored student on a course that lasts longer than 6 months

Sorry about this, did you receive an email for it or it was when you collected your passport you saw it?

An administrative review seems to be the only option, however, if you were not banned then you can also consider reapplying, but first of all get in touch with your school international team, they will be the best to advice you on what to do next and if you will be issued another CAS.

Wow , better to do AR . Why couldn’t they just confirm from your school ? Did you get a non straightforward email before this ? When was your biometrics? All they had to do was confirm from your school .

As it is, I will advice you move into the solution domain - which is to opt for AR.

However, before that, would you wish to state whether you were a regular student at the University of Ibadan then or a Distance Learning Student?

Yes I got a non straightforward email 2 days after biometrics.

My certificate was not laminated

I was a regular full time student in the school. They did not even check anything with school anyway.

They are just confused. How can they say they have done checks on scan copy of a document and conclude it is not genuine. It is not the paper certificate they checked o.

Mine was laminated. I have gotten visa

Guys, I’m a bit confused. The closest date I could get for my biometric was 23rd and I couldn’t find flexi on the tls page, can I just go to the center to write my name for walk in or must I select that option online? And I amended my appointment date from 31st to 23rd, do I print out both appointments confirmation mail cause the first is showing the payments I made and the second is showing no payment.

The bolded could be the reason. As you further stated, it is a big error. Indeed, it is.

I will advice you initiate the process of Administrative review.

If possible, you can seek advice from the UI's Exams and Records office on what could be done by their officers-in-charge in order to strengthen the veracity of your case.

Let your school(at the UK) be in the know.

The caseworker should have contacted UI to clarify his/her suspicion. My opinion though.

Be hopeful, it will end well.

You won't be allowed to submit the old passport.
The best you can do is to scan visas from the old passport and upload them. Again, it is not compulsory.

Go for AR and attach the original certificate with a letter from your university to support this...i do understand that getting such letter from university in Nigeria can take ages and costly sometime. If you are unable to get a letter still go ahead with the AR.

Inform your school in the UK about the situation.

I used my statement of result Which my school here in Nigerian gave me to support my documents in my visa application, I don’t really know why my original certificate aren’t out yet.

But the university I applied for in the Uk approved all my documents.

(1)my statement of result have 12Months validity from the day of collection and its expiring this November, I hope it wouldn’t affect my visa decision/application from Home office
