..... And he spent money to design and print the banner?

Money he should have used to eat

It is called investment.
The ROI might surprise you in few months.

The money he wasted doing Master's degree would have been channeled to better his life as a married man.

What's the essence of gathering papers your children will not inherit when you die?

What if the governor employs him and place him in a master's degree cadre ? Is the Masters degree not useful?

A 34 year old with a family and he doesn't have a job or business. Wow later nw shocked, during election he would carry 4+4 banner screaming jagaban for president. Tribalism has really dealt with us. in this country.

Wise man grin

He will surely be given one even if the pay will not be much.

Oh, now I see angry.
May God forgive me. While I was schooling in Osun, I always (bitterly) compared Ogun with Osun in term of electricity usage,,, anytime I was home. Truly, Osun has less industries.

The cost of running a Master's program is far below what is spent for undergrad study. Verify it!

Does that mean he cannot fit into a reasonable job? We have thousands of people who studied relevant courses with a good grade in school but still jobless. No course or degree is useless in other developed countries. Every degree is relevant in their own field

He just wasted spaces he could have used for work experience.

Who cares about your primary school, LGA, religion, SOO, etc?

I wish him all the best, but Osun is terrible when it comes to job hunting. Little to zero companies except you want to teach or work as a bank teller.

Their lack of industrialization is the reason for stable electricity because no company uses their light.
who ask you?

A 34-year-old unemployed graduate identified as Oladayo Oyebowale, on Monday took to the entrance of the Osun State Government office in Osogbo to express displeasure over difficulties in finding a job, Newspremise reports.

The father of three who is a master degree holder stayed at the state secretariat’s entrance with a banner, with inscription on it, in his hand.

The inscription on the banner read:

“Governor Gboyega Oyetola, I need a job – I want to be a responsible father”.

He said that he has been jobless since January due to COVID-19.

“I have worked in the construction site, schools but due to COVID-19, I am now jobless.

“My wife is about to leave me saying I could not take care of my children. The governor should help me,” he said.

Why beg for job when you can create jobs! A truly certified Master's holder is trained to create jobs and not to beg for a job. It's a shame and very embarrassing cos he is the architect of his woes.

Their lack of industrialization is the reason for stable electricity because no company uses their light.

There used to be a Steel Rolling Mill and Machine Tools Factory in Oshogbo. I learnt that FG sold the two to Dangote (not sure) and the factories have been redundant over the years.

If those 2 had been active, there would have been greater development in Osun.

The stable electricity supply is because it has always been a strong base of the power industry. The National Control Centre of electricity transmission is located in Oshogbo.

You’re right, I heard about that Steel Rolling Mill. The state is perfect for industrialization, they have good roads, security relatively good, electricity, and all.

Just don’t know why the Government is not doing enough to attract investment. It’s really sad to see graduates jostling for teaching and sweeping jobs.

That is not totally correct since master's degree is of two types.

Some of you.commenting are children being fed that doesn't know that there is famine.

He is the architect of his woes, you say? So, obtaining master' s degree automatically confers on you the power to create jobs?

The only thing I can tell you the is, if things are okay for you, abeg no call your friend lazy man o.

It's not about things being ok with you or not. The whole purpose of education is to not only educate you but also empower you with creative abilities to proffer solutions to the enormous human insatiable wants which leads to creating jobs and empowering rather than waiting for already created jobs
