About 3 days ago I received a call from my wife who's nursing twins baby girl, she was crying on phone about sending money to someone who promised to invest on her behalf to get 100% profit in 30minutes, I know people don't fall for such tricks anymore but how she fell for it is still baffling me.

Despite all we passed through during the birth of those twins, asking people for help here, which some good people rendered without doubting my stories, we ve been managing since and she's still living at her mom's place till when I'll be able to get another apartment.

Her sister sent her 15K to get some clothes and foodstuffs at home, she didn't buy those things, instead she sent the money to the scammer who promised her 100% increase in 30 minutes, the man sent a screenshot of a crypto currency wallet with 1 USD and claimed that's her wallet and she need to send more money before she'll be paid.

Now she's threatening to kill herself because of the 15K, I'm very angry right now, cos she didn't inform me before sending the money until she discovered she's been scammed, I screenshot her chats with the scammer and also the receipt of the transaction and the scammer's bank details she paid the money into, I will send everything here for people to see and maybe there's a way I can get the scammer arrested and get our money refunded.

I don't know why people are so wicked, this girl is nursing twins baby girl and she's living in a room without floor cover, and yet one unscrupulous element decided to scam her of the money she needs to survive, I'm very angry with her for that foolish step she took. The scammer is using UBA bank details, I'm begging the entire good people here to come to our aid with whatever power they have at their disposal so as to get that scum arrested and refund our money.

Unfortunately there is nothing u can do cos the stress is equal to that 15,000 or more. Go to EFCC website and write a petition
Go to CBN website and write to them as well
Them visit UBA with a letter to their fraud and investigation unit that their customer is using that account for fraudulent means
Also police but they will collect money..
Go and make money and give ur wife..it's d only way to solve her sadness..she has learnt her lesson, don't scold her again

There is no investment on this planet earth that can promise such returns.

I'm very angry with her, she's just naive, she didn't tell me about it before sending money to scammer, she remembered to tell me after it became obvious to her she's been scammed.

You need to lodge a complaint with the scammers bank (UBA) so his account is flagged and blocked, but since you said you don't have a UBA branch in your town, then contact EFCC by email immediately. Their email address for complaints is info@efccnigeria.org and make sure you attach all relevant documents.

You can also go to the police but knowing how unprofessional our police are, you might just end up spending more than the money your wife was scammed with the Nigerian police.

I believe your wife has learnt her lesson, please don't scold her anymore. She will never repeat this in future, she was just greedy. Cheers.

P.S - I just did a search on the UBA website, you can also send the same email to whistle-blowing@ubagroup.com and send them messages via whatsapp as well with all the documentation to +234-9062834807 & +234-9062833874. With this I believe the scammers account will be blocked while the investigation is ongoing.
