Congratulations on your PPR! May Canada favour you and your family. By God Special Grace, I am hopefully waiting for my PPR from IRCC to join you in the same DLI (Welland Campus). Please I would like to contact you privately for more information. Thank you for your understanding. |

February 25th applicant Eligibility started 14th June. I saw a ghost update this morning. As ghost update is just an indicator not a certainty of PPR, I'll just be double hopeful 17 Likes 1 Share |

I applied on 24th May, did my biometric on 26th May, rose two different webform in July and same day I did medicals and updated my medical data form this is to give additional documents for my application, there was no response so I went ahead to do my medicals on 12th August, got a pass on 16th August. I would like to know if the reason for the delay is the webform I rose? Secondly, I would love to know if there is a WhatsApp group for Saint Paul University students Ottawa |

jeffdaniel: Since you are in Canada, make the payment yourself..... It's best to avoid a 5 years ban, and currently you can with you being in Canada. Ensure you see the payment through, and then send the receipt of payment via mail and webform to IRCC |

shupy:ok I have the options of using my current employer or claiming that I work for my dad's company. The reason for this is to claim strong home ties that after my studies I will come back and take a kind of higher position. Note: my current employer will not be able to give me this kind of letter. They can only give a letter of introduction. 2. My dad's account is not buoyant, so i am sourcing for fund to fund his account and he will transfer the money to my acct (an amount that will cover my first year tuition and living expenses) and he execute a gift deed. But the lump sum that will come into his account will be issue if i need to print out his statement. Also he doesnt have tax clearance on his business. 3. If I am using my dad's company as my employer, i dont have salary acct to show that I earn salary in that company, will the VO be convinced that I am paid in cash for 3 years? I have someone that went through this route, he only did the gift deed, he didn't submit his dad statement and tax clearance nor salary account that he earns salary in his dad's company and yet his visa has been approved. But like the saying, each application is unique that is why I have decided to get clarification before embarking on this route. Look forward to your imputs and others imput also. Thank you |

Hi everyone... For those of us still awaiting feedback from IRCC on study permit application... What do we do when our school resumes and we're yet to get their response? |

MJ1000: Good day, Theres no fastest means. Gcms notes take 30-40days depending on the volume of applications received. You either apply using third party sites or get someone in Canada to apply on your behalf. |

The online portal is undergoing maintenance. That maybe the reason why PPRs didn't drop yesterday. Hopefully once the portal is back online, the emails will start raining. 1 Like |

There is a message on the website about ongoing maintenance. This might be the reason for the error message. I also tried logging on this morning and got an error message. However it's not the same as the one you saw. Iffylove: |

That’s not true Teenie. The moniker will be asked to apply again. That is going through the whole process again…. When one changes schools from outside Canada, the old application is no longer valid….. Which will be demoralizing and more stressful. Teenie19: |

You can either defer the admission or you go ahead and register and commence studies online pending the approval of your study permit. Note that even those that completed their studies online and outside Canada are still qualified for the PGWP. I have a friend that applied last year for Jan commencement. She applied for study permit and was denied in 5 days. Did her research and applied again in October last year but permit didn't come and she had to start her program online. Got her ppr in March this year and she travelled last month. The goal last last is to enter Canada so giving up is not an option. Our God will not fail us. dotoracs: |
