shegzhkn:You nailed it again. I have been saying here for months that i want Trump to be out there as the face of the RepubliKKKan Party and that will bode well for us not only in 2022 but 2024. The sad part is that i want a very strong two parties in America and Trump is destroying the Republican Party because majority of Republicans are still beholden to this Demagogue. The more he talks, the better for Democrats. 3 Likes 1 Share |

PrideofLincoln2: @ bolded - every patriotic citizens wants that too, in a healthy democracy there has to be some checks and balances which is the job of the opposition party but these people have proven time and again to be difficult partners. Let face it, Trump embodies what the GOP stands for but they are just subtle about it and that is why folks with conscience are jump shipping. 2 Likes 1 Share |

shegzhkn:Exactly. Imagine so called Evilgelicals sucking up to him not because he's moral or a decent man, they suck up to him for his bigotry and misogyny. Obama is a very decent man who never cheated on his wive and never have any sleazy attributes but they loathe Obama more than lucifer because of his skin color. These guys are the worst in America and we are ready for them starting after Labor day when we will start our massive registration of newly converted 18 year old and naturalized citizens. I was part of a group last year that helped registered more than 120.000 newly minted 18 year olds and naturalized citizens and we are going to do it again after Labor day holiday. God bless America. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

PrideofLincoln2: Obama is the only modern US president that enjoys international admiration after exiting office, he is decent, funny, compassionate. personally i liked him not only because of his eloquence but the way he relates with children and the fact is trump will never measure up, his racist fan can deal with that. Just feeling anxious of the sweeping voters suppression laws by GOP legislature in different states and the possibility of the stupid idea he floated last year to override the will of the people - the idea is crazy. 2 Likes 1 Share |

shegzhkn:I love President Obama not because he's a homeboy from Chitown but his rags to rich story is something everyone should be proud of. Here's a man whose father came from Kenya to study in US and met his mother and his father died young and so was his mother. He was raised by his white grandparents who did their best and he became a Law Professor and State Senator in Illinois before graduating to US Senator and pronto to the highest post in the land. That brother still enjoys wild popularity not only in America but the world. Compare that to the vile racist Pig known as Trump who is the biggest scammer more so than Bernie Mardoff in America's history. A Billionaire that constantly begs for money from his brainless Appalachian and Redneck supporters who are living on public dough. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

I been scouring around on Taliban latest news. Taliban has officially asked all American troops out by Sep 11. Taliban confirms islamic law shall guide the rights of women. No school, no going out uncovered, who knows what else. (Effeminate men bound to be happy about this.) Taliban spokesman when asked about freedom of speech retorted * Go ask Facebook". The spokesman has an active verified twitter account. |

PrideofLincoln2: Reasons to Love Obama with every fiber in your body . Can you describe what happened at Sinjar two years ago? The attack was launched around 2 a.m. in the morning on Aug. 3. Within a few hours isis seized control of Sinjar district, a home to about 350,000 Yazidis. They gave the Yazidis one choice, convert or die. They drove these choices from their interpretation of Shari‘a law, as they see Yazidis as “infidels.” Many men, including some elderly and disabled people who were unable to make the escape to Mount Sinjar, were killed. After killing the men, they took women and children into captivity. For the village of Kocho, my village, we could not make the escape and ISIS reached us in the early hours of the morning. They put the village under siege until Aug. 15. On that day they separated the men and killed them, and they took us, the women and children. I was also, like every other women, girl, or child from Kocho, taken into captivity. There were about 1,100 of us. These attacks happened suddenly and in just a minute we have seen ourselves powerless people within hands of thousands of terrorists when nobody had defended us. What became of your friends and family after ISIS attacked? On Aug. 15, ISIS separated about 700 men and young boys from the families and took them to the outskirts of the village and massacred them. Six of my brothers were killed with the men. We believe they were killed because about 16 men from the village survived the massacres and they later told us that all men were killed. After driving us from Kocho to the Institute of Sinjar near Sinjar city, they took my mother and around 60 other women and killed them too. ISIS was not interested in enslaving them as they were old. We were not sure of their death until this area was recaptured and a mass grave was found. All in all, 18 individuals from my family are missing including my six brothers and my mother, my brothers’ wives, my nephews and nieces. What happened to you after leaving Sinjar? I was taken with some 150 girls, ranging in age from about 9 to 28 years old, to Mosul where we were distributed from the distribution centers. In these centers, ISIS militants and others will come and take us and use us for as long they wished, then return us to the center. I was like all other women and girls, raped and tortured. |

Obama wanted Assad out. He armed moderate sunni militias who were infact radical jihadists who later became ISIS. Obana lied about it and called the IS a JV team that would seemingly go away. The IS with weapons from Obama killed, raped, tortured and enslaved thousands of the Yazidi. Thousands of reasons to love Obama. Im guessing the church story is fake. 1 Like |

basilico: There is no help for you swallowing your far-right American propaganda. You won't face the real world. Only 50,000 semi-automatics were in circulation in New Zealand, so how is that 99% of the population punished? You want to cry more than the New Zealanders due to the garbage the American far right has put in your brain. New Zealanders are not stüpid not to see the drastic decline in homicides in their neighbour Australia after Australia banned guns. We anglo countries don't like citizens going around with guns. In your indoctrinated mind, you think we are being punished. Guns belong in lawless societies which is the society America was in it's virgin years as they went around stealing land from the Indians and having to defend stolen land from Indians, Mexicans and other European migrants. That's how gun became a part of their culture. It is not a European culture which is where they migrated form, it is a culture born out of stealing and defending land. 3 Likes

Ibime:Yes. The Chinese are seeing opportunities. They are offering a different approach different to the US and Russia. Copied from Bloomberg: When the Taliban took over Afghanistan the first time in 1996, China refused to recognize their rule and left its embassy shut for years. This time around, Beijing has been among the first to embrace the Islamist militants next door. China’s remarkable shift was on display little more than two weeks ago, when Foreign Minister Wang Yi welcomed a Taliban delegation to the northern port of Tianjin as the group made gains against the administration of President Ashraf Ghani, who fled the country on Sunday. Wang’s endorsement of the Taliban’s “important role” in governing Afghanistan provided a crucial boost of legitimacy for an organization that has long been a global pariah due to its support of terrorism and the repression of women. Those interests make China look like the next great power with a stake in bringing order to Afghanistan as the Taliban prepare to declare an Islamic emirate in Kabul. After the failures of the Soviet Union and now the U.S., China will be hard pressed to avoid repeating the same mistakes in a rugged and landlocked nation notorious for exhausting empires. China has sought to portray itself as more pragmatic and less interventionist than the West while urging a negotiated peace. “China hopes the Afghan Taliban can unite with other political parties and with all ethnic groups and build a political framework in keeping with national conditions that is broadly inclusive and will lay the foundation for enduring peace,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told reporters Monday in Beijing. Even so, China is one of the few countries that saw some benefit from the U.S.’s $840 billion nation-building debacle, which bogged down Beijing’s rivals while creating a relatively stable environment for its companies. That’s left China with economic interests to secure, including a copper mine and several oil blocks. The country evacuated some 200 business people last month. Afghanistan’s stability is key to protecting more than $50 billion worth of Belt-and-Road projects in neighboring Pakistan that provide an overland route to the Indian Ocean. Wang, the Chinese foreign minister, told U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a phone call Monday that the turmoil in Afghanistan highlighted the danger of trying to impose a political system on a foreign culture. Similarly, Wang urged Blinken during their call to reverse the Trump administration’s decision to remove ETIM from its list of designated terrorist organizations. The Bush administration had granted China’s demand for the designation in 2002 while seeking Beijing’s cooperation with its War on Terror, including the Afghanistan action. “China’s attitude toward a Taliban-led regime will depend on its policies, for instance, whether the Taliban will honor its promises and not to become a hotbed for extreme forces that have links to China,” said Fan Hongda, a professor at the Middle East Studies Institute of Shanghai International Studies University. Afghanistan could become the biggest test yet of a Chinese diplomatic model that’s driven by loans, commodities and infrastructure deals rather than demands for liberal policies. If the Taliban pursue moderate policies toward women that don’t alienate other nations, and achieves political stability, Beijing might consider an array of investments similar to what it has done in Pakistan, according to Sun, of the Stimson Center. “The Chinese approach is, ‘Through economic infusion we create roads, we create infrastructure, and we make sure everyone has jobs,’” she said. “And if everyone goes to work at nine in the morning and comes home at 6 p.m., they don’t have time to think about terrorism.” 1 Like |

The truth is Biden was aiming for a political scoring point by claiming he took the troops out of Afghanistan and it blew up in his face. Pulling out is popular with the American public but not the right thing to do. 2,500 American soldiers have been keeping the Taliban abay by providing leadership to the Afghan Army with aerial support. That's not a lot of soldiers, they have more in Korea, Germany, Japan etc and none have died in the last two years. All they needed to do was spread the work out among NATO if the burden was too much for America. Afghan military collapsed just on the withdrawal of those 2,500 soldiers. Allied partners has warned that the September deadline was too early but political posturing took precedence. And no Trumpanzee should come and claim Trump would have done any better because Trump deadline was in May. Biden was appealing to the same populist sentiment as Trump. 1 Like |

Ibime:It makes no difference if President Biden's move is popular with people outside of America or not. The bottomline line is that Americans who are footing the bills are tired of our troops dying for a cause that's not worth it not to talk of over $2 Trillion that went down into the sewage hole. America cannot force their kind of Democracy on the people that believes in Sharia Law. Most of the Afghans do not like American troops being in their country and i believe their leaderships tolerated America because of the greed and benefits of the money they are scheming off America. No wonder their President left Afghanistan with Billions of Dollars in his airplane. Biden did the best thing by pulling out of that hell hole and Afghans can off each other and i couldn't care. You can't help someone who is not ready to help himself. With all the helicopter gunships and armaments left by America, the Afghan soldiers didn't put up a fight and infact they were kissing the Talibans on the cheeks in some of the pronvices. Let them live under their Sharia laws and do whatever they like to each other. America is tired of being the moral police officer of the world. 1 Like |

Ibime:In my opinion, what could have been done differently was to pull out Americans and maybe foreign nationals that wanted to leave out first. But this is not to Biden alone, both Biden and the NATO allies placed too much trust on the Afghan forces. As per the Taliban moving very fast, I don't think there is anyway around it. The Taliban was in control all along and the Afghan government were just a "figure head" in power. The Taliban just had to wait it out, and that's exactly what they did. If Biden slowly pulled out 100 troops, 200 troops, 2500 troops at any point in time, the move of the Taliban would still be swift the moment they release that they have the upper hand. From how swift they were able to reach and take over the capital? My guess is that the Taliban has been in Kabul all along and were mixed with the regular Afghans. The Afghan forces most likely had a large number of Taliban among them as well. The Taliban did not drive Lamborghinis, ferraris or McLarens to reach Kabul from wherever they were hiding. They were right there among the regular Afghans. 1 Like |

Tdotbluejays: Biden should have simply handed the matter over to NATO. Taliban is not that many nor strong an army to take a City in the presence of Western forces. Airpower is everything against an infantry army. They cannot move troops or equipment with air force patrolling the skies, they can only hide in the mountains and carry out skirmishes. Look what happened to Syrian rebels when America vacated the skies for Putin. 2 Likes |

Like I mentioned in my edited post, what could have been done differently was to pull out Americans and maybe foreign nationals that wanted to leave out first. But this is not to Biden alone, both Biden and the NATO allies placed too much trust on the Afghan forces. NATO too also thought the Afghan Army were prepared. 1 Like |

Tdotbluejays: NATO goes where America leads. Some NATO members wanted to stay but had to dance to American unilateral decision. Eventually Afghanis would be determined enough not to go back to stone ages. This is a country with 9 million people with higher education now compared to 1 million 20 years ago. It get the level you go reach, you will no longer accept going back to the stone age and fight for it. Another problem they have in the middle East is not working with Iran. 10% of that population are Shia and have ties with Iran and will fight to the last drop of blood. Anywhere Sunni fundamentalists raise their head and you send Iran, Iran will flatten them. That's how Iraq Shia Government defeated ISIL, under direction and command of Qasem Soleimani from Iran and his troops. Anywhere America has tried to work with Sunnis against Sunni extremists, you find there are a lot of double agents playing both sides, whereas the Shia get the job done. 2 Likes |
