Obasanjo: Our Alarming Population Gives Me Sleepless Night by Health16: 7:47am On Aug 18, 2021 |
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said Africa’s increasing population is assuming a worsening trend, such that it keeps him awake at night. Speaking on Tuesday during the public presentation of the maiden edition of the Africa Progress Group (APG) report, the former president said his heart sinks anytime he travels across places and sees the huge population of people “oozing out from nowhere”. Obasanjo, who is the chairman of the APG, said if Africa’s growing population is managed properly, it would yield huge dividends for national and regional development. https://newsrand.com/2021/08/18/obasanjo-our-alarming-population-gives-me-sleepless-night/ |

I wanted to make a post about this development. People should help their nation by abstaining from giving birth to large number of children. Let's leave 6 as the highest number of children married couple should bring into the world. Unrecognized couple should not dare to create life and populate the country unnecessarily. If we control our population, hunger will reduce and cutting down of forest to build houses for more people will slow down or stop. |
