In my own humble unbiased opinion, after considering the various indices involved, Buhari is the worst leader Nigeria has ever had since 1914, the biggest failure among them all. 32 Likes 1 Share |

Hmm, they are all bad Because all of them did not develop an economy based on using our raw materials, they developed an economy based on selling our raw materials. Which is why I am right now not a fan of this admin. They are borrowing because they haven't taken our economy off its dependency on the revenue from selling oil...which will never get to the price we need it at to sustain ourselves. And the fact is, unless Nigeria changes its orientation, we are going to keep on having 'bad' leaders 5 Likes 1 Share |

Buhari, he should have been a lifesaver of Nigeria, but at the end of the day, he turn his back on the whole issue that is giving the citizen of Nigeria problem, just imagine, when Nigeria citizen is giving the chance travel to foreign land the citizen will just take off without reasoning, and they just want to go to abroad even if they don't have plan for anything over there.. 1 Like |

Enoch07:it is an opinion. Everyone's opinion can't be the same. For some people, Luggard is the worst, for some people it is Abacha, some might say OBJ, some Ironsi etc. It is just an opinion, nothing more. 1 Like |

BetExpert: He institutionalized corruption. His structural adjustment program affected the economy so badly and made the Naira to have less value. Infact his bad policies is still affecting the country till date. |

Beancounter94:Please that's not true. Not all of them were bad leaders. Some were good, though could have been better but at least they helped to develop Nigeria and build a good economy. There were leaders under whose govt and rule Nigeria naira was 1 Nigerian pound = £1 and I think 20 shillings = $1, a time when "naira" had more value than dollar.

Elzazzi:Ok. But under IBB, did we have terrorism, banditry and all kinds of insecurity killing hundreds of thousands of Nigerians and displacing millions from their homes into unpalatable IDP camps? Did Nigeria ranked among the top 10 poorest countries in tbe world? How much were foodstuffs and basic commodity items etc? Was killings unarmed protesters a norm under IBB govt? How about infrastructural development and govt service delivery to the masses like public education, were Federal and State universities affordable for the poor in society? If we look at all these various indices factually without bias and prejudice, it is clear that IBB can never be correctly said to be the worst leader in Nigeria's history. He is far from the best, but he is also far from the worst. Corruption under IBB is minor compared to the corruption we are seeing under "Democracy" 1 Like |
