Coronabirus: Poorly informed Nigerians like you think the crisis in Afghanistan is caused by a Christian Vs Islamic system of Government. The US Forces in Afghanistan were occupying Forces and must come to an end which was what the US did by withdrawing from Afghanistan. The US achieved the objectives by making sure Afghanistan no longer pose threats to their interests. The people of Afghanistan can rule themselves in any ways they like in as much as they stop breeding terrorists that attack the US interests. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE are Islamic countries that don't practice democracy and are strong allies of the US. The issues at stake is NOT really about Islamic Government or even about religions as you are ignorantly insinuating. 25 Likes 1 Share |

There is nothing special about Afghanistan. The US only removed the Talibans and installed a democratic government there. Unfortunately, the people love oppression. They like it when terrorist numbskulls from Quraysh flog them using 6th century ideology. 5 Likes |

Gadafii: Actually it's the mujahideen that the US supported, because the Taliban as a movement did not exist then. Granted, majority of the mujahideen metamorphosed into today's Taliban. Mujahideen in Arabic means fearless warrior. The word Taliban is from the Arabic word for student. 2 Likes |

ValCon888: Even the US, Russia and China are breeding grounds for domestic terrorism. There is special interest because Afghanistan is of strategic importance to Asian powers China, India and Pakistan. Not to talk of their untaped mineral and petroleum resources estimated at over 5 trillion dollars |

With it's perculiar mountaineous terrains conventional warfare in Afghanistan remains elusive even to the most elite forces. Gorilla tactics and unconventional methods seems to be the bane of Western forces and allies. |
