Go to your bank and apply for PTA. However, you must have a study visa and a return ticket not less than 14 days from your proposed travel date upon application.

You can confirm other miscellaneous documents you might need from your bank.

Yes they refused the application stating
Financial Documents
Birth certificate by NPC

in the financial documents, they didn't specify where the issue was as regards to both my statement of account and my sponsor's statement of account. So I'm a bit confused in this regard as to which one I need to work more on.

Anybody here with better suggestions should help, please.

PS: my parents are working and they reside in Ireland and I'm using my mom's statement of account.

wait o, Is birth certificate mandatory? or important because I didn't submit it, also saw it in the vfs list on how to arrange your document?

Good day all , I don't know if this is the right place to put this...

My question is, would it be fine to go ahead
to apply for a short stay visa for an exam that's geared towards professional accreditation?

I'm asking this because of the pandemic/update on visas.

I followed this your link and I discovered one could apply for *internship employment permit*. Do you have any info on this kind of employment permit? How much could it cost one from applying to getting there?.
Any info at all will be useful.
Thank you

Were you able to get a response with regards to the reference number
toyelee:
Same here. I tried tracking it with the IRLXXXX number on the yellow slip, but it kept showing invalid reference number. I reached out to the VFS office via email, and they responded that the reference number should start with IELG/****, which I don't have on my slip.

I sent them several emails but I'm yet to hear back from them.

How does one get the reference number that starts with IELG/xxxx, the one the person has is the one that starts with IRLxxxxxxxx

You need to make some more clarifications. What subjects did you teach? If the subject is a STEM subject, especially Mathematics, Science and Physics, you can apply to the UK and if successful, you can go along with your child. Ireland is a bit more stringent in terms if immigration [/quote]

Hello everyone,
Pls I need help with my cousin's application to Ireland. His visa application was refused and he was asked to provide more documents for his appeal.
His mum in the Uk paid his school fees from her bank account and they requested for her ID and receipts from the bank,. But the concern we have is that his mum is not his sponsor, his uncle is the sponsor (as he has a more funded account than his mum). Would it be an issue that his mum paid his fees but cannot sponosor him?

thank you for your suggestions

DammyDurst:
1. International Passport
2. Your undergraduate certificate
3. Admission letter
4. Payment Invoice (with the bank details of the school)

Thanks for this information. Why applying for the visa did you include any other financial document apart from the education bond? Did you include bank statement with big money?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by juniior(m): 10:04pm On Aug 19, 2021

Your best bet is to enquire from the bank itself so that you don't get any left out. Some documents are standard like your admission letter, invoice for the fees, bank account details, your NYSC certificate, your BSc or MSc certificates in certain cases. Reach out to the bank and all the information you need will be supplied

Please those who have gotten their visa, how do you plan on getting Forex from the banks. One of the requirements is that you need a return ticket to access forex. Anyway around this?

Both people involved are sponsors - all docs required of sponsors must be presented by both parties

Banks require a return ticket before they can sell FX and I think max amount is 4000 USD so weigh out cost implications of a return ticket well. Futhermore, if you don't intend using the return ticket make sure the ticket is refundable.
