NBA is not under any international basketball Body?

Edit:

I just discovered the NBA is yet to join FIBA.

This is what the European club owners wants to do with the super League.

Create an independent NBA type of association with football and operate it like an NBA organisation, with the potential of even making more money than NBA because football is a bigger brand than Basket obviously with more potential to make billions of dollars more than what the NBA earns.

The clubs in NBA share all their money directly, without having an overseer body like FIBA dictate to them what to do with it, Unlike UEFA that gives the clubs a fraction of what they make. With super League, all the clubs are partners and they share all the money just like the NBA.

I think I support these clubs too.

Some fat bellies sit somewhere deciding how and what the real stakeholders should do with their sweat. Totally shrewed

That is why till today, I respect American model of league administration in all their sports. The clubs who are major stake holders always get the biggest share of the pie , which is how it should be.

The premier league clubs are richer than most other leagues in Europe and have an almost equal financial footing among themselves because they applied a small portion of the American system in the league, in which the clubs control what happens in the league both financially and policy making instead of the FA , that is why they can share the TV rights money Among themselves and decide what the FA get,. and not FA deciding what they get , like what UEFA does.

End of 1st quarter
Japan 30-22 Nigeria

Japans 3-point shooting has been spectacular! It’s ridiculous

UPDATE!

Alan Major, the head coach of Rwanda Patriots who made it to the semi final of the just concluded BAL has been added to D'tigers coaching crew...

There were rumours, which the NBBF has denied, that Alex Nwora had quit the team to focus on his college coaching....

So we might be having Mike Brown,Alex Nwora and Alan Major coaching the boys....

It is not a weak team. Many of this Squad's players are making their debut for Nigeria on the international stage. Domingo and Omogbo are very good players. The others are fresh and they must have been selected to play at the Afrobasket because they have something to offer Nigeria. I see this squad getting to the Semi Finals or even the Finals, if they can get past Senegal and Tunisia. Besides, the four home based players are also experienced cool cool cool. They have played on the continental level in Africa for their Nigerian basketball clubs. With Mike Brown at the helm of affairs, Nigerians should expect at least a 2nd place finish ( Silver Medal ) from this team. Cheers.

If they keep up the tremendous job from the 3-point line (they made 18 of those!!), and improve on their shots from the paint, then it’s another W over Kenya.

But did poorly with 2 pointers.

What if we meet teams good at defending 3 pointers?

Mike being a coach with the warriors make it less surprising that he has coached the team to focus on the 3 pointers.... but relying on the 3 pointers too much can always backfire.... They need to improve more on their 3 point shoots..
