My dad is a great cook.
He is very active in cooking till date.All the Igbo delicacies I know I learnt it from my daddy cool

Yes, when I was young. One delicacy I learnt dat I av not seen anyone cooked till date. U peel d beans as if u want to do moi moi but u will just cook it like that applying g oil, veg, onion, n dry fish to spice it up. Yummy

Its called bean soup. Its called " gbegiri" in yoruba.
It becomes sweeter on the second and third day.

My Dad cooks very well. Last time I was home, he still cooked something pretty nice.
I also cook very well and I enjoy cooking. I cook better than a lot of ladies I know and some are actually intimidated.

I think I am exception,I can never be intimidated by a guy cooking better than me infact I love it like that because I don't like cooking and I am a below average cook so my man cooks better and I am not intimidated I am even happy grin

Yesss oooo! And he didn’t add maggi...mehn! The food was so delicious ehn! I am still surprised till now! My Dad can cook ehnn but he is always too busy with his profession. I love my Dad.

True. lol. i learnt how to cook from my mom and dad, infact me and my brothers are good cooks, there's no food we can't prepare except pounded yam, I can't pound yam the way my mom and dad does. grin

I recall one time when the man made us kids back when we was young joloff rice from nothing but sardines and some tomato and pepper. Tasted very very good.

my dad was a great cook, he thought me how to cook and everything i know, we were best friends and we could both communicate using our eyes only, i miss you dad, you died and took a part of me with you, continue to rest in peace till the day we will meet again to part no more.

Unfortunately i'm not presently in Nigeria, I am really missing my favorite foods alot, especially hot pounded yam and egusi soup garnished with exotic meats and catfish. OMG! embarassed
