Pope191, our favorite in house apple bigi ambassador... First off, I called no names in my post. If you feel threatened to reply me in this way, Na your pocket bro, I couldn't care less. Your epistle hasn't changed my personality, my attitude or my next post. It won't.

I wanted to reply you point by point, but I realized it will take me almost 45mins to do that. Time I don't have because I'm chasing 95k in 3 days. And again because in your very first line of this epistle unwarranticus, you kinda admitted I have a particular way of reasoning which you don't understand and which I dare say you will never understand because parallel lines don't meet.

You make excuses, I don't. You care about rude riders, I don't. You have negative pride, a stupid ego that tells you you're too big to drive people around, you deserve better and you drive because of condition, I don't. Life doesn't give a fuck_. You play with the cards life has dealt you. If I call people lazy, it's the truth, cos I've met lazy drivers, hundreds of them. You choose to avoid that reality, I don't. You're not the only one that has lost a loved one. But has the world stopped spinning? It hasn't. I have too, but I realized life is on a per head basis.

I don't care about your opinions or how my opinions affect you or anybody. I am basically laying out what I do and telling everyone who cares to listen that if I can do it, they can. I have a blunt and combative personality, but when it comes to what I do, I do it best. I think, I strategize and I re-strategize. Words that may be alien to you, but I don't care. I don't indulge in self pity and excuses. If I did, I won't be where I am right now.

Accept that I won't change. Accept that you will never understand me. Accept that I will never care about your opinions. People that understand me, understand me very well and their mentality about this hustle has changed. You can wallow in your ego and self pity, we have other ideas.

Hope you've had Bigi apple today. I prefer Bigi Tamarind. You can try that one as well. Has a zingy taste.

Offer him condolences at least, haba!

Fallacy of hasty conclusions.

eyes to read, no sense to decipher. The time stamps on post are not there for decoration as you erroneously think. If you had read the time stamp, you'll see that I made my post before he informed me of his mom passing. Why he replied me on a day like this is what I don't understand cos no matter what I say I'll be the bad guy.

You jumped into conclusions like a woman. You and every one that liked your post... All head, no brain.

in response to the bolded,

1. Oh, you don't know? Please ask around from people living in civilized countries where e-hailing platforms operate. And I believe you're aware of judgement from the law court in the UK. These are places where drivers know their value and adopted the master approach. But here in Nigeria, we don't know our value, thus do you expect these companies and riders to respect you?

2. If you do, no problem but let it reflect in the statements you make. That way, readers can comprehend your messages properly.

3. Personally speaking, driving on bolt is side gig. Now, imagine if bolt or uber ban 40- 60% of it's drivers? Who is affected the most? Drivers can adjust by picking up passengers along a route but what will bolt or uber do?

N. B

It's good to be goal oriented but it's a different thing in the choices made in other to reach that goal.
I don't expect you to understand my posts. You drive as a gig, I drive full-time with a goal in mind. You see it as just there, I see it as a sector like hospitality management. You manage people in a particular way to ensure continuity.

You can afford to not drive. You can behave as you like on the platform under the guise of dignity cos the gig is beneath you. It's not the same for me. I'm taking notes and compiling loopholes of everything wrong with the present system of ehailing with the aim of doing something about it. You don't care. You're on another career path.

We are parallels and that's fine. Your mentality about this has been noted by me, and I already used it to achieve an aim. This respect thing is taken too far by drivers driving basic dirty and rickety cars, but that's a conversation for another day.

It's always easy to compare to the UK without acknowledging that they have a better working system over there where there is a better standard of living, and accountability.

It's funny you think that a driver who makes 150k a week can easily adjust when he's banned. It exposes the level of your knowledge about ehailing. Can you make 150k a week picking riders along the way? What a fallacy. Will your riders leave the comfort of their homes to come wait for you at the bustop? Will the riders at the bustop pay you more than they are used to? Put your money where your mouth is and prove it.

@ the bolded is the reasons for the opposing views. You focus too much on the money but I chose to focus beyond that money. In as much as I don't disrespect a rider, I see no reason why I should be disrespected. You push yourself to overly ambitious goals that has clouded basic reasoning. Because of money?

Oga, without e-hailing platforms, people will move around. And yes, riders must go to a bus stop for pickup in an event of unforeseen circumstances to bolt or uber. E-hailing platforms are there for providing comfort or luxury, not that they are a necessity. Drivers and their cars are the necessity.

Nigeria isn't the U.K, yes but does that mean I should transport 3 or more passengers on a #350 trip? Does that mean a driver's fate should be allowed to dependent largely on the ratings of riders? Do you forbid enjoying a better standard of living? Do you think these companies will just provide it to you if you ain't ready to fight for it? That's some of the points from the UK judgement and in this aspect, Nigeria does not need to have an improved standard of living comparable to the UK before e-hailing platforms improve their packages for drivers.

Whether full-time or part-time driving, Remember that we came to life empty-handed and will leave the same way. Know your position in life and push to attain reasonable heights but at the end of the day, you'll realize that all our hustle, goals and contentment is bvllshits. Life is truly fvcked up, no need for the arguments.

Yep u didn't mention me, but the essence of message is always to encode to decode and here is a public forum *smile*. Chucmoore is a good example that motivation can b pass without insults, but like u say, it's ur personality and good or bad is not really in my place to say.

Anyway: lost my mom this morning, kind of seeing the world from a whole new angle. Tempted to go drive, just to distract myself since I live alone, I don't even know what to do. So my nigga, it's really all peace from here.

Can someone please advice me, I can’t go online as a new bolt driver, it keeps telling me to do training which I have done about 20 times now.

I’ve already emailed help, and they responded very quickly yesterday telling me to wait, but I keep getting WhatsApp messages from bolt telling me my account is active and to go online and start a trip.

This is the message I see when I try to go online:

Anyone?

Also, is it a good car for this e-hailing business in Lagos?
