Rodri's career average which includes his time at lowly Villareal and bus parking Atletico is 64 passes per game and 91% pass accuracy.
Career average 91% pass accuracy.
He is not a good passer because he plays at City, he plays at City because he is a good passer.
And i never said we won't be fine. You like answering questions that were not asked.
Are you saying Fred is a better DM than Rodri or are you saying McTom is a better DM than Rodri? I said I was not sure if Rodri is really far from McTom or Fred. |

If I ask you who replace KDB today, you'll struggle to tell me and if you do, was it a like for like replacement? No...Every player come with their own qualities, it's up to the manager to set up to bring out the best in his players... Valid point, you are doing well. 1 Like |

They get aggressive whenever you point the obvious to them, same way Chelsea fans were defending Lampard, saying that Rudiger, Alonso, Werner, even Kante were all finished until Tuchel came. A team with Varane, Maguire and Shaw as part of Back four tell me any team in the world with such quality? Na only u Dey talk as e be for this United thread. The rest are not true to themselves due because they want to give excuse out of sentiment. This Man U team is very good to win the league, Ole is limited in tactics and formation, that’s the only thing that can stop this team from winning trophies. But if you look at it from deep analytical point glaziers have their reason of keeping Ole and the reason is yielding fruit so far, I.e, to bring in-house stability to the club. 3 Likes |

City like us have a lot of versatile players. At some point I was struggling to list their 2nd 11...They don't have that much players in terms of numbers but they have players who can play in many positions and Pep trust them... We also have such players that's what I intended to point out when ai listed the respective players per team who can play in any position but it's left for the coaching staff to figure out how to use our large pool of talented players... |

benji93: Of course they would tell us Man Utd's and Man City's teams are on the same level because that leaves one thing, coaching/managing.
Sometimes i wonder if these people watch football at all. How can you ignore the fact that a coach would likely play 2 CMs to provide a decent makeshift defensive shield? And those CMs better not go forward, hence collapsing the purpose for which they were brought together when one of them should be playing a traditional CM role.
Besides, even as players that are much better utilized as CM, you never see adjectives like "really good", "great", when we talk about them in comparison with other central midfielders.
Even though i believe Man Utd should consider firing Ole if he fails again since others were not given enough in time and leeway. Besides, it's very obvious the man is learning on the job, and he makes mistakes worth considering in a decision to extend his contract or not, especially more recently the goalkeeper issue in the Europa finals(I have still not watched the penalties. ).
I mean any coach who wants to win will choose the better goalkeeper for the penalties, and then hope. Whether a team with such history needs this kind of coach, that seemingly looks to be progressing, and has not won any silverware would certainly split opinions, i mean what's the roof of your progress? Or when does progress stagnate? And i would think a slight regression after winning a couple of trophies can be overlooked, Are you content with being top 3 and reaching at least the quarterfinals of the champions league every year? Are you sure you want to draw the ire of these crazy fans that cannot sleep because the last time they won the league, which seemed to be their birthright, was in 2013? . Certainly not so easy a decision to make.
But these kinds of opinions on the issue of whether we have the same quality as others are rather insincere, and I can't help but think these people cannot help themselves with the fact that Ole is still the manager 3 years and counting. Very painful. . All in all he better win the Premier league, for the sake of some semblance of peace here. Our brothers seem to be very innovative in their creation of agendas. Can’t you see that Pep can rotate his squad without a drop in quality? Except in the CF role. Why else do you think you can’t pick Pep’s first XI? If United drops to Dalot, defence on the right side is effectively weakened. Varane has not kicked a ball but you added him to win argument. Well, that should tell you what you think of Lindelof. Maguire to Bailly is a drop. No long discussions. You put Fred, Pogba, Bruno in our first XI, so who’s the DM? Or United doesn’t play with DMs? Who will deputize for Bruno? The VDB y’all castigate here? The fact that you add Daniel James to win an argument is extremely laughable. James can’t make City’s 2nd XI, but he somehow makes United’s. Isn’t that telling you anything? By your logic, James is Sancho’s replacement... but you dare compare with Man City? If McTom is in United’s Second XI and Fred is in the first, then how did the name “McFred” come about? No wahala sha.. the target is Olé, so I get it. 2 Likes |

Almost every FPL manager has Bruno in their team because he’s a sure starter and point magnet.
KDB is a point magnet, but why is his ownership so low? Nobody knows if he’ll start or not. That should tell you the extent of quality in the depth of that team.
If e sure you, swap Bruno for KDB in your FPL. After all, both are point magnets.
People captained Mahrez in their numbers today, yet he didn’t start. They trust his quality enough to put the armband on him, yet his coach did not even start him.
A team that the only sure starter is their goalkeeper.

No wahala sha.. the target is Olé, so I get it. So when City replace Ederson with Steffen they're strengthened? Is Ake not a drop in quality? Who cost them the Community Shield? Mendy for Zichenko, is that improvement or on par? Fernandinho for Rodri? Lol... Varane will start for any team in the world, that's not trashing Lindelof but showing you how good Varane is...If City signs Varane, Stones becomes a bench warmer... For City, who is the equivalent of James? Delap? If Bruno is not available, Pogba plays further forward...Unless you're saying Pogba is a drop in quality I don't get you... You're struggling to prove City have more options but that's a lie that I have busted... Is Jesus better than Greenwood? Is Torres better than Martial? Is Delap better than James/Lingard? Even if McFred starts, that leaves us with another top talent on the bench to call upon.. Of all the points you guys can make about our squad vs City's squad Rodri is not better than McTominay (or even Fred) as a DM should not be one of them.
Rodri posted very good stats as DM at Villareal, Atletico, City which led to his meteoric rise in such a short time but somehow McTom and Fred who are always sharing duties (unsatisfactorily) are better than him?
