First!! Chelsea were no where near relegation zone and wouldn't be there even if Lampard wasn't sacked.

When did u and I discuss Chelsea being near relegation zone? Can u produce where we had that discussion?

It was obvious the team lampard had was very good, they spent over 200million in a summer coupled with the arrival of thiago Silva. All that team needed was a good coach. Werner and harvertz were blistering hot before coming in.

How does spending 200million automatically translate to a team being very good?

If u say "All that team needed was a good coach", does that negate or does it corroborate what I was saying? What good coach did they need and what was wrong with d coach they had?

If u say "Werner and harvertz were blistering hot before coming in", what now happened to them when they got to Chelsea and why?

Coaches have a huge role to play in the way a team plays but this arsenal team lacks the quality. Only a few of them has the quality but are been paired with less experienced/underwhelming players.

When u say "quality", pls define what it means in footballing terms

This arsenal team were bullied in both games they've played.

If they were "bullied" in both games, why was d scoreline against Chelsea just 2 nil?

Also, the Chelsea team you made mention has serial winners in them. They won the Europa league in 2019. They have Thiago Silva, Kante, Azpilicueta. It was more of management.

If they are serial winners, what does that mean?

"It was more of management" of what?

Wenger did nothing to support the bold proposals of Alisher Usmanov to invest massively in the club back then but rather sided with Stan Kroenke to run the club on a shoe string budget principally by selling players to raise revenue and reduce the club's wage bill in his latter years.

While we all agree that keeping a club in the black in the face of financial fair play is important, tell me which of Europe's elite clubs is not beyond its spending limits. Usmanov had the resources but Kroenke will not divest but rather found an ally In Wenger who will frequently make excuses for him.

Look at what Conte did with Intermilan last season. He saw the divestment coming and threatened to walk away. That is what Wenger should have done all those years. He had the Ferguson type of clout at Arsenal but unlike Sir Alex he would not make stout demands for proper funding or force management decisions when it mattered. This was Wenger's own making. How will you sit by and watch your best talent leave without like replacement and say nothing. Was Wenger a shareholder for heavens sake? The fans demanded frequently for proper talent but he kept on making excuses for management.

When that sort of behavour grips a club or any organisation such top heavy power positing can become entrenched as a culture. That is the Wenger virus I talk about. And it affected Freddie and Emery after. That is why the Arsenal board will NEVER go for a manager with a stout personality, to stand up to management and tell them the truth. Carlo Ancelotti was available but they knew he will make demands they cannot accept so they prefer gaffers they can push around.

It is only in the last year that the stark realities of the destruction their practices have caused to the club that they are trying to splash the cash but alas every club smells their desperation and is selling at cut throat prices. They are paying top dollar today for average talent because of the Wenger virus.
U just nailed it. Arsenal recruitment over the years have been pathetic. From Pepe to Lacazette, partey, Luiz willian and the list goes on. They are paying heavily for average players cos they are no longer a brand who can compete with top club for quality players. It's either they are paying $50m for a player who nobody else wants or paying tremendous wages to another spent player who came on a free transfer. Ben white at $50m couldn't win a header against Brentford an paying $30m for ramsdale who would be second choice keeper and letting Martinez move to aston Villa for a very low price sums up how terrible Edu has been.

Arsenal will be in the relegation zone by Christmas time.

Then they will sack Arterta when it too late.

So if ur an Arsenal
Fan just disconnect and worry about better things because If dem sack Arterta I’m go collect millions of$$.

He has no problem

That’s the sweet thing about being a coach in a big club.

Some players in the team had won a lot of trophies, Silva, kante and azpilicueta been an example.

I meant player management, tactical know how, been boosted psychologically. Remember Lampard said "The team wasn't ready to challenge" before he was sacked and Tuchel won with the same team. Quality wasn't and has never been the issue with any Chelsea team.

Because its football and Chelsea isn't a high scoring team. They hardly win by more than 2 goals margin. Crystal palace being an exception.

The players. Quality to compete with their rivals. Quality to match their opponent man for man. Quality to decide games. Quality to perform on the big stage. They lack quality likewise experience.

It is Arteta's fault bro...is he not the coach?..is he blind?..can't he organize his players?..why is there a technical area for the coach?..it is to spot weaknesses in his team and quickly solve them even during the match...Arteta lacks tactics and is super naive in his approach and it shows in every match...I to think I initially had high hopes for him, but he has grossly let himself down..
The same Arterta you all begged to sign even when you were singing 'Emrey Out'. The truth is, whoever the coach is not the problem, but the problem is the board and the scouting team. As a Chelsea fan, it pained me to see my team play against a team of an average age of 20-21, wetin you expect to happen, that's like bringing a gun to a knife fight. Anyway, I just hope you guys don't slide into relegation very soon

You're talking as if they used the 200m to buy a full squad. They had quality players before the arrival of Werner and harvertz. They only needed addition to the squad as they were lagging in some key positions. They also needed key/marque signings.

Lampard is a rookie, he tried all he could but the job was too big for him, he couldn't cope with the pressure. Even jorginho said so later. He was given a war chest and couldn't utilize it. Chelsea were leaking in goals. But the scenario is different with that of arsenal except you just want to deceive yourself.

A lot happened to Werner and harvertz.

1. Pressure
2. Change in environment, country, culture
3. Man management was poor
4. Football (said this cause in football, some times thing don't go as planned)
5. Loss of confidence etc.
6. Different league some times equates different style of play. The tempo, speed, physicality, technicality etc.

You said if Lampard wasn't sacked, Chelsea might have been relegated.

And I said been sacked or not, Chelsea wouldn't have had any business there.
You made the situation then look like Lampard was brain dead or Chelsea was I'm 15th position. We were in 8th and few points off top 4
