Simy with an assist on his debut. Flicked of a player, so might not get it.

WTF is wrong with Osimhen. Preseason he’d be all cool, working hard and banging in the goals…then the season starts and he’d either cup up injury and get silly and overzealous getting unnecessary red cards.

Such a talent. He should watch it.

How many red cards today alone in Serie A?

Modified: 5 in 4/5 games.

Nah, you can't get red card for shoving in EPL?

Are you watching the game? The red card was for shoving his marker during a corner for his own team. Seems like the ref doesn't know what he's doing, or he's been bribed or something. That's one of theworst refereeing decisions I've ever seen.

What kind of referee gives three yellow cards and one red card in the first half of a regular league game? Five red cards in Serie A today alone. Serie A refs don't know what game management is.

TheSuperNerd:
The Midfield: A little analytical viewpoint based on eye test and other observations made overtime from recent showings in the past 1 year+

We are getting to that point where we would have the following Midfield double pivot options in our Arsenal with each serving distinct functions depending on the opposition.

A). Capped:

1. Ndidi-Aribo: (Speaking on reality) Guarantees world class DM shield in Ndidi, Ball carrying, smooth transition from midfield to attack, and top notch late arrival in the box.
Aribo is the best among our MF options at arriving late in the box to bag a few goals.
Only problem is we don't get enough creativity from deep in this combo and there is little visionary lines-breaking passing when up against a deep defensive block.
This combo Guarantees goals than constant creativity against certain oppositions due to Aribo's knack for getting forward rather than playmaking.

2. Ndidi-Etebo: (Speaking on reality) Guarantees Workrate and energy in the middle but the defect is there is little ball transition and both lads will almost likely mirror each other in most functions.
Etebo is always the busiest in this combo but he doesn't do the most important job of a CM well..... Ball carrying. He is more of a ball retention expert.
Against certain highly Physical sides, this combo will strive and get results for the most parts but against a Top ball playing side this "similar-functions" combo struggles.
Additionally, Etebo can also get forward and have shown that a few times with goals to show for it but I maintain that Aribo remains Lord among our options when it comes to a CM arriving late in the box.

3. Ndidi-Onyeka: (Speaking on potential) Likely to guarantee Mad Workrate and Insane Defensive shield, box to box energy, good ball transition, pressing all over the field, but creativity will largely depend on the #10/Support striker and Wingers plus a few moments of brilliance from balls won in the high press by Onyeka and Ndidi's long passing from deep (which comes not so often but when it comes, it can cause problems for oppositions).
Potential defect is this combo is that they could struggle to create through the middle.

B). Uncapped*:

4. Ndidi-Alhassan*: (Speaking on Potential) Likely to guarantee World class DM shield, Top defensive coverage all over the pitch, insane workrate, excellent ball transitions due to the presence of a genuine ball playing Midfield dictator in Alhassan, creativity from almost all over the pitch due to Alhassan's quick thinking on the ball combined with his Constant High press, Midfield possession control.
Alhassan also can get forward but none does that better than Aribo.
Potential defect is hard to spot in this combo... Alhassan's High Cerebral Midfield plays and passing ability is also highly complemented by his insane energy and mad workrate. Time will tell.

5. Ndidi-Nwakali*: (Speaking on potential) Likely to guarantee top DM shield, Good defensive positioning, excellent switches of plays as both are long ball experts, decent workrate, excellent ball transitions due to the presence of a bonafide ball playing Midfield dictator in Nwakali, lines breaking creativity from deep, Midfield Possession Control.
His dead ball ability is also the best among the midfield options. Etebo is another who can have a go from freekicks but Nwakali still edges.
Potential defect here is that Nwakali could have a drop in defensive concentration/level and that could take its toll on Ndidi if not checked in time within observed period.

Ndidi-Alhassan midfield double pivot option is the real deal. Alhassan is a delight to the eyes. Dude is endowed, however there are certain aspects of his game that are still evolving,

Ndidi-Nwakali midfield double pivot option will be a perfect fit against a highly tactical side with good coaching, because aside the fact that our plays might be difficult to read, Nwakali brings good stability.

Make it 4 yellow cards + 1 Red Card in first half alone. No EPL ref, no matter how stupid, will do that.

Apparently, after the first half ended, some officials went to have a word with the referee about his decision making.

Watching the Roma - Fiorentina game. The referee doesn't tolerate fouls at all, every knock down is a free-kick.

3 yellow cards, 1 Red Card and 14 fouls in first half alone.

As heated as Arsenal - Chelsea was, there were only 14 fouls in the full game.

It's a Serie A thing.

Why will a ref tolerate foul if I may ask ?

Why was there no single epl ref at the World Cup then ,it’s because of their bias officiating

Why are you guys suddenly saying this about seria A because our own star boy was sent of ?

Why didn’t you guys say this about seria A last season ? But suddenly it’s now a seria A thing
